I'm concerned this is going to escalate and badly.

I get that, but I think that's an overblown fear. Iran isn't capable of escalating it badly.

Now, while I think @Scouts Honorspeaks out of both sides of his mouth when he says "Iran is not a serious country," and then says it's so important, they're so close to getting a Nuclear Weapon, we HAD to bomb them," I do not think they can really do anything in terms of striking back. Terrorist attacks are coming(or at least plots and I'm sure some long actors who just think it's a good idea to act on behalf of Iran)...and there will be other things, I don't thnk it's WWIII, I don't think China has the appetite to get involved, I think China wants to, but won't do so until they're fighting from a position of strength(not just their Military, their economy). The one thing they have going for them, they DEFINITELY have a coherent, long term plan and they are following that. By definition, we'll never have that. The continuity of leadership.  I wouldn't want it, but in this case, I think it keeps them out.

Egypt wouldn't dare, the Saudi's have become far too pragmatic(though still brutal). Jordan isn't going to(another country with a treaty). Iraq is...not in a position to engage in a military offensive, Afghanistan should...really know better.

I don't see this escalating beyond missiles being fired.

The WORST thing that could happen would be China takes this as an opportunity to implement it's blockade of Taiwan with so much of the Pacific Fleet in the Middle East. That would MASSIVELY rattle the market, per US Foreign Policy, that's an act of War... but I don't think China is going to do that at this point(though I don't think Trump would go to War there as...there'd be a real threat to the Military and despite the fact that it'd cause...well, a global financial crisis(Semiconductors from Taiwan being cut off, even with the AZ plant from the Biden Chips Act underway and performing exceptionally well, it'd still have catastrophic affects).

But I don't think it's going to escalate into any type of global conflict. I think it's reached it's zenith...unless Israel goes in and does more.

What's MUCH more likely to happen is a massive Cyber-Security Hacking attempt.

I've been a longtime shareholder of CRWD, bought PANW about a year ago and S(Sentinel One is a growth AI Cyber Security company that's got a lot of growth potential).

AI is the future. Hopefully you also bought NVDA 6-7 years ago or TSM, AVGO, you could buy AMD now, PLTR is a crazy valuation, NVTS is a good growth stock, but the second order consequences will be more attempts to hack, IP theft and in response, the companies that can actually use AI to block cyber security.

---AT least...that's my opinion and how I'll be watching this unfold. Hopefully with some Iranians taking to the streets...and maybe with the soldiers distracted, they can actually accomplish something.

I’m just glad we have this guy in a key counter-terrorism role.  Meritocracy, baby

Yeah, this is...silly.

Anyone who was a Women or non-White Male was a DEI Hire.

If they had a problem with a White Male it was a guy who was a secret "leftist."

What it's really about is blind loyalty.

Totally legit concern, but what do you think would have happened if they made a nuke? They wouldn’t have escalated badly?

They also recently accelerated their missile production capacity, and were planning to increase their stock from 3,000 (pre-6/12) to 8,000.

Aside from the question of the extent of damage to their nuclear sites and enriched Uranium they moved (which are still unknown and scary) their nuclear production ability appears gone and they are neutered from an offensive attacking capacity,

hmm, i have 8 or more every day from you

but adding my name to a post that had nothing to do with me.. incredible

i really am important to you

Don't conflate amusing with important.

You said Iran wasn't "a serious people," whilst also claiming they were a week away from developing their own nuclear weapons.

That's just objectively funny because it's SOOO stupid and contradictory and you don't get it. It's alright Scout! Sometimes jokes go over your head(by sometimes I mean all the time).

It's a "tough connection" for you to make, eh?

Now the opposition in Iran needs to finish the job.

It’s hard to see the regime have much credibility after this. How can they get their ass handed to them by “puny little” Israel with no real response, have the US put the nail in the coffin, then agree to a ceasefire imposed by the US and go back to chanting death to America, death to Israel?

Even the most die hard supporters are hanging their heads right now.

I'd GLADLY see the US supporting the Crown Prince and rebel forces. Arm them, let them fight. But we can't do anymore than that. Iran needs to be taken back by it's own people(to your point).
