I think I've argued about this a dozen times.....is it a hot take if I say this whole thing is a bad look for Bartlett? 

Unfortunately I have to admit Id be perversely satisfied is PSU got knocked down a tier by a scandal....but this just wreaks of Bartlett whining on his way out the door...likely because they didn't care to pay enough to keep him around.

Keep in mind that every single person on the USPS team said Lance Armstrong did the same thing. Forced everyone to shut up and take PEDs through intimidation tactics. If you weren't in on it then you were blacklisted from the sport and your career was over.

I doubt Beau is referring to a guy intimidating him by chest bumping him into lockers at practice; it reads like more than some high school bully situation.

I've heard that there was a serious beef between Bartlett and Starocci regarding Bartlett's girlfriend with Starocci's opinion that Bartlett was more concerned about her than wrestling i.e. Bartlett wasn't putting in the extra effort to be a champ.  Carter allegedly said some really crude/rude comments about her

There were a lot of rumors around December/January that a girlfriend was causing issues for a Penn State wrestler if anyone remembers.

Interesting... Sounds like there's serious toxicity they're covering up and potential harassment / abuse issues if I had to guess. Due to the reference of certain people treating women and others terribly.

Psu admin/faculty learned their lesson and don’t do cover ups.  If Beau repeated something Henious…. I’m sure the authorities didn’t sweep it under the rug?

I would say it would be a bad look if he never reported anything previously.  He’s saying he did.

I’d bet he got a decent offer to stay.  He strikes me as someone that would want to move to a real city after college though.

Given that Bartlett raised the issue with higher-ups and it was not addressed makes me think it's someone more influential than a fellow team member - maybe a coach.

the previous report is a meaningful distinction. 

I doubt the 2nd part, keep in mind thats money that can go to recruits, but I have no clue.
