Yes, they would be, but I can't get too optimistic with big bro coaching at another Big Ten school.

Would seem to me in the weights that they are going, Minny has had more success there for sure.

Where does Burnett rank after splitting with Sidun this weekend? Need him in scarlett & gray.

He was #3 at 125 prior. I imagine he stays about the same.

Now a top 5 guy overall for c/o 2027? Had to figure he was hovering around 10 or so before this weekend., Sidun is #2 overall.

Willie had him at #6 in his rankings from June. I think some combination of Miller, Sidun, Bachmann, Burnett and Borge will be the top 5 in the next update

All those kids so good and so accomplished it’s really splitting hairs there, honestly. That’s a group that’s done quite a bit and will do quite a bit moving forward.

Good get for sure. Yeah hopefully that shifts the momentum.

Hoyt, who do you think would be a good fit for Nebraska in the 2027 class?

I think Borge could do really special things learning from Brock and ridge, he reminds me of Ridge a lot stylistically.

In other news recent Northern Iowa recruit Dean Anderson bonused his way to a PNL title at 138 over the weekend. I would imagine that kid probably has a pretty good father.

Burnett- lifer 25 and is a dude

kenny- see above

Borge- I think he could get big and he’s so good. Saw him wearing some Nebraska swag at s32. Fits well with their style

dale corbin- looks huge like massive, competes so hard. When I think nebraska I think kids that run back to the middle after oob and just stay solid. I think he Could grow a ton and he’s had a great last 9 months, I like him and think he’d fit.

Braylon reynolds too, great little run of late, close to home and I’d want a pipeline to brownsburg, they are impressive.

sheppard- passes the eye test and just again seems like he’s a fit for sure.

I guess big thing is weight but I think all these kids can continue to grow or stay where they are at.

Tanner Hodgins has a visit there I think and man a big man that can move is an awesome thing. Bonus has an Olympic shirt too.

bachmann- I mean kids growing and still super good all upside. Pipeline to fca.

lucas boe- tough gritty kid and a pipieñine to Lhp. Hey and lemme take a minute to say how impressed I am with Lhp.

probs a few more this was kind of off cuff.

Deans done well in spite of dad being suspect at best. Great PNL event, love those events and what they are doing especially at the MS level.

Thanks a ton for your insight. I do not follow high school near as much as others so it's great to gain perspective. I'll be excited to follow those guys this Fall

If bet there is a few more but think they need 41-57 if I remember right. Everyone needs lifer 25s.

I also think a Kid with an Olympic shirt is a huge advantage for a team if they are very intentional about projecting lineups, which they are very meticulous.

maybe they flip someone or someone decommits from 2026 as well bc that seems to be a thing, they got hockaday when he decommitted from OU and he’s gonna be very good there.

Husker-
May not fit here but Nebraska got Nolan Fellers c/o 2026, saw commit announced today. He’s good, tough solid kid from Iowa.

Has Stephen myers committed yet? I think he is one of the more underrated kids in this class.

Ryan Degeorge is a dog as well.

I've heard good things about Hockaday but he's not cleared to wrestle yet. I expected more out of this 2026 class but then again I'm not sure about the $$$ left or that will be freed up after Hardy, Allred, & Lamer.

I saw Fellers committed, should be a good room/developmental guy.

Myers is really good has some good wins. Be good to see how he does at Iron Man.

Degeorge is another Delbarton kid that’s really good…not a shock to anyone that Delbarton has another stud on a big board. I guess a lot of those guys go Ivy or to a school like Lehigh or Stanford, right? Seems to have been the move for most of those guys.
