Willie had him at #6 in his rankings from June. I think some combination of Miller, Sidun, Bachmann, Burnett and Borge will be the top 5 in the next update

I got it down to the exact order for todays update

:Brain:

until I see Bachmann again, I would have Burnett over him wins over sidun and Zinkin in the last 6 months.

I think Bachmann will make some noise whenever he returns; I don't mind him staying above Burnett.

I think, a lot get sorted out by XMAS with so many big events coming up. The ranked teams have a huge share of the big board/weight class ranked kids and so many of them see each other. There are some cases of where there is a dude who is from smaller state smaller team that doesn’t travel but that’s not overly common now. Valiant prep type kids too I guess but they get out to a lot pre/post so it works itself out. IMO it’s always harder to get the 15-20 right as opposed to the 1-5, because so many more kids fit.

Blake Hostetter is a good get for the big Red. He has been a big kid for a long time so I think he could really do some damage once he physically matures.

Yes he is good. Remembered him from S32 2022, and have followed since.

MS 128 went

1. grajeda

2. miller

3. anderson

4. Stanley

5. Hostetter

6 Kaufmann

7. Miller

8. Fitzgerald

tsarni and a young O’Farrell dnp

1,2,3, and 6 all Fargo aas that year and Stanley lost in the blood round. Hell of a bracket. Lots of big boarders in there. Obv paid more attention to this one but tons of old brackets go that way. The next bracket up was good too.

That was such an insane bracket. I remember being pretty high on Fitzgerald and Evan Stanley going in to it. Out of all the kids that placed at that weight compared to where they are now I think Grajeda has actually not quite lived up to my expectations yet, super talented though.

I’m a fan of Grajeda as well. I don’t think he has underwhelmed IMO. 4th in a loaded cadet 132 (James, Saldate,Llandro (5th at worlds that year), Grajeda, Dean, Requena, Miller from OK, also Parrow DNP, Stanley DNP)

uww u17 top year got hurt. Has had monster elite 8 duals last two years. Also Fargo placer this year. Had Vega on ropes last year. Get what you are saying but think he’s really good just missed or hurt for some big events.

Has been at some big events and crushed it but has been absent from some events, notably s32 but see above.  So I get both sides of that. Have heard some say not as consistent as they expect, idk. But gonna be a great get for someone.

I should rephrase hes definitely had very good results! I believe that same spring after winning super 32 he was beating Davino at u17's with about 30 seconds to go. So at that point I thought he was going to be one of those generational type of guys, so my expectations were just a bit lofty.

Kenny and Bachmann announcing their commitment together tonight on basch and the brain at 8est, I would assume this means they are a package deal which is enormous because each of them also have a sibling so you are presumably getting a 4 in 1.

Pin doctors and other Iowa fans are saying Bachman Kinney and Borge all have committed. Anyone else hearing this

Consensus on the social medias says Iowa, and I’ve seen Borge to Iowa as well making for a big week for the Hawks. I guess we shall see in a little bit here how it all plays out.

For those that may not know, Pin Dictors is ran by The oldest Swafford, brother of former Hawkeye Brennon Swafford.

Kinda what I’m seeing too, but cannot confirm anything. I don’t know or pretend to. Would be a good haul for the Hawks. With all those guys coming in wonder where everyone would project?

Not sure, but it’s hurts. Thought Mizzou had a good shot with at least two of them. Chances are we miss out on all ‘26/27 top guys.

Yes, valid point, should be in the know.

fwiw I dislike that everyone has to be first to scoop where kids are going. Let the kids do their thing….idk, my two cents. 0 issues with a bunch of guys here just throwing out ideas etc. This should be things people chat about on message boards or over a beer etc. idk if reporting it before a kid says it is good, idk again that’s just my take.

100% agree. Let the kids have their moment. Just find it funny that he may have broke the news, but slams mineo for breaking recruiting news in the past before there was an announcement.

What weight do you see Joey wrestling? I heard he is pretty thick these days.
