Bo is a 170lber.  He shouldn't be having a hard time making 185 with his physique.

Palacio doesn't weigh 157lbs. They are probably closer in weight than we think.

What did he compete at ?   Frame vs quasi retired beer gut aren’t the same.  I competed at 126.  My weight now vs a college wrestler that weight isn’t exactly fair boss

I was mostly indifferent. I didn't see it until later, but...Ferrari was the biggest clown then.

It certainly didn't bother me.

 

Speaking of which, I'm not keeping up on this real close. 

Is there someone who has come out and said, "Carter Starocci raped me," or is this Beau saying he did it?

I don't need her name or anything, just...is there an accuser other than Bartlett.

based on the article I think we are assuming stachatory rape......but i just looked it up (on grok @bnwtwg!!!!), and the age of consent in PA is 16, the article said he raped a 17 years old i believe.....so apparently we're dealing with rape rape, unless he liquored her up? which i don't remember being said....more questions than anything.

I thought he started talking to her when she was 17 and then didn't actually meet her until 18, brought her into the locker room when she was 18 and...then I have no idea.

 

I've just seen people editorializing. "There was a power imbalance." I don't know WTF that means. He wasn't a boss and while going after a HS girl when you're in College is creepy, if he didn't sleep with her until she was a Freshmen...

 

So I assume there's more to it, but I have...really no idea.

In the world of combat sports, they would be separated by one weight class - 155lbs and 170lbs.  It is fair if they both accept the bout, whether you like it or not.  Palacio is nearly 6' tall and was known to be longer when he dropped to 157lbs from 165lbs.  It would be easier to assume that he would fill out his frame - which he has, than it would be for him to get himself a beer gut - which he hasn't done.  Bo hasn't grown since his Soph season in college.  He just quit cutting weight.  They're two animals from different sides of the sword.  Were this match to happen at... say 190lbs?  I bet they both weigh in within a couple pounds of 190lbs.

As far as your weight now VS a college wrestler at that weight?  I wrestled 134lbs nearly 30 years ago.  My weight class now would be 141lbs, which would be the new 134lbs after the +7lbs.  It would take me about an hour to get to 141lbs.  Sounds like a 'you' thing... 

I jest, brothaman.  I don't think it's a fair wrestling match because of the caliber of their wrestling.  Add in that Bo has the larger frame and has been wrestling a higher weight class while being active in combat sports and I think it's a bloodbath.  I do love that Palacio is willing to follow through, unless it's with Askren - which he might be willing to do now.

I typically stay out of such sort of talk, but you should be made aware of how disgusting it looks.

I do wonder if wrestling part time is going help advance Bo's skill in MMA.    His presence will likely help RAF but I wonder if it will Bo in the octagon.

I wonder if this is his slow journey away from mma as his advisors have told him he isn’t going to be world class as a fighter.   He showed no heart and gave up in his last fight …. As the title suggests.  He got wrecked.
