Marcus's ability to stay in the hand fight there while being undersized is pretty remarkable.

I did not have Bryce Andonian beating Henson in a methodical match on my bingo card. TBH I figured Henson worked him in the room and I was wayyy off

Bryce at his best beats anybody in the room, his gunslinging style that everybody loves hides how technically sound he can be when he wants. Wouldn't have been surprised either way today. If he wrestles like he did today he can knock off Duke, if he goes back to the "create chaos" strategy Duke eats him alive.

Bassett needs to learn to change pace and keep people off balance. It won't be often but at the highest levels some guys can handle his brute force and he didn't have anything when that happened today

believe we will have Beau on Bo crime round 1 and Mendez gets the award of likely wrestling Blaze in his first match. My picks are Blaze and Bartlett win those.

Just saw this.  How did the match go?

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

He’s a junior in high school?  Or is he a post grad 4x AA with the best coaching in the history of the sport?

Consi semis Jordan Wood (NYAC/LVWC)& Lucas Stoddard(WPW)

Step out point Stoddard... TD Wood & leads 2-1

Him and Blaze are the same age and he's bigger than Blaze. He didn't get close to cracking Blaze's defense.

Leg attack by Wood... no TD but gets the step out point... leads 3-3 criteria.

Super fair.  But he beat beau-ring.  Did he not?

Wood walks the tightrope to avoid the step out.

He wins by criteria 3-3 & wrestles for 3rd tomorrow.

Yeah Bartlett is a good win but by Bo's standards I doubt today would be considered a success. He's got the talent but can't just sprint forward the entire match against world class guys. Hardy and Blaze didn't have to initiate any of their own offense it was all reattacks

Is it just me or were there more than the usual number of nasty black eyes obtained today?  Kharchla, Dake, I think some more that I’m forgetting

Duke has beaten him at least twice. His wins over a pair of ncaa champs today vaults him to #1 in that p4p argument on the other board. Just imo.

If he had beaten them in folkstyle, I would agree

Lewan had beaten Bryce pretty handily the last time they wrestled as well. Duke is definitely the favorite based on last time and how he looked today but this is the best Bryce has looked at the senior FS level as well

I agree.  Match was legitimately one of the 14 worst in 25000.

Not even a match.
