Yes, he may have made good decision and "sacrifices" (as he calls it) but the bottom line is that it wouldn't have happened without a very high paying job to start with.

The basic fact is that not everybody can have a high paying job. Great for those that do, but it's literally impossible for everybody to be a doctor, engineer, CEO, etc.

Welcome to the real world. Not everybody without a high paying job is lazy or on drugs.

So, so out of touch. It's unbelievable.

Expand

So…..you don’t “start there” with the high paying jobs.  The high paying jobs come AFTER the hard work and sacrifice,  not where you start.

Additionally there are a ton of high income resolutions that do not include being a CEO, engineer, etc.   Have you seen some of the houses and cars owned by real estate agents, salesmen, etc?   You know how they can afford those things without being CEO…grinding.  Hard work.  Smart work.   And good decisions. There’s also tons of ways to make additional/supplemental money outside of your 9-5, without having to clock in going to work.  They call it make your money work for you ..but it all comes down to decisions and actions.

I look forward to your next speech about being so out of touch.  Have a good day.

So everybody can make a lot of money if they simply choose to? Is that what you're saying? WOW!!!

Imagine if we all pulled in 6 figure salaries. Imagine the inflation too!!!

Well, not if you simply choose to.  But if you make the right decisions, take the right actions, set goals and follow through with the process to achieve those goals….yes.

Interesting how you left those key aspects out of it.  Speaks volumes.

So, everybody makes the right decisions, right actions, etc then we'd ALL be rich, right? No inflation issues when everybody is pulling in 6 figures?

You're amazingly out of touch. A lot of people can't afford to buy an additional car every year like you can, even if they're used. WOW. You need to get in touch with how it is out there for some people.

That's great but in the real world not everybody can purchase an additional car every year. You need to wake up. There are plenty of people that can't even afford a used car. You're telling me that you were able to do it and that's all it means; that you were able to do it. It doesn't mean that everybody else can. A high percentage of kids and college students can't afford a car either, even if daddy is buying it for them.

After the wingers got crushed on Nov 5, 2024 in Wi I’m just fine. After all that’s the one that really mattered.   Wingers like you have no idea what self accountability is and that’s due to being sheeples in the socialist cult.

My head is so far above the sand right now I can see forever.  It’s priceless how the wingers and their 27% approval rating think they’re on fire.   The sheeples are being told things are good and they believe it.  I’m not shocked.

A 2021 Deloitte report projected 2.1 million unfilled manufacturing jobs by 2030, and construction’s been short tens of thousands of workers yearly. These gigs often pay $50K-$100K+, well above minimum wage, no degree needed.

Everybody has the same ability to work hard and get a high paying job.  Limiting it to dr ceo etc is classic you.   Sillly.

I grew up poor.  Worked hard.  First human in my family to go to college since my immigrant family migrated here 120 years ago.    My parents worked extra jobs to try to pay for books / high school / part of college.  I also had a lot of loans to pay for college.

Nice job. You're making huge bucks. First, that's only the "taxable" income and it also ends in 2008. You should be raking in about $200k per yr gross income now. At least  That's great, but you're gonna tell us about your "sacrifices" of not being able to buy a brand new car every single year and your wife having to work a yr or two? More out of touch than ever. Wow!!!

Tariffs won’t ruin the average person. Most adapt: buy used, fix what we have, seize opportunities. I’ve driven beaters, done repairs, overspent on credit, saved cash... not ‘out-of-touch.’ I don’t swap cars yearly; I just replaced my wife’s and got my kids their first ones. Rural life demands wheels. Success takes grit and bold choices; I respect leaders risking it for the big picture.

There is empathy here, but I am too hard and positive to support those who wallow in it.
