Ono is much more talented than nearly all D1 wrestlers, ever.

"ever" seems a bit strong ... Uetake was pretty good.

How long was Uetake training folk prior to wrestling it? Just curious.

Ever, lol.  The guy hasn't wrestled a folkstall match and could be getting advice from Varner.  But, yeah the best ever talent at 133 lbs?

Blaze wrestled 57kg at Olympic trials. Surely Blaze would want to be at 133 this coming season? Will he redshirt? Ono vs Blaze 133 Black Knight final??

Ono and Blaze went 1-2 at 61kg U20 Worlds this year.

Blaze also wrestled way, way up at 150 this postseason, up from 138, his natural HS weight.

He was just doing the team a solid on the bump up - nobody was challenging Blaze, and it opened the door for a competitor on his team.

I think we agree that we don't expect to see him at 57kg ever again.

Must be nice to be so freaking good that you can just go out and do your thing, no matter who it is. Spencer is the same way, doesn't game plan or look at tape. I think for folkstyle, it might be helpful for Ono to watch tape and be strategic.

Or just blow the doors off of people for the opening three minutes and make them pin him to win.

There’s no one at 133 he couldn’t score 5 TDs on in 180 seconds if he really, really went for it.

Well, technically he would need 7 TDs in 180 seconds (21-6) but you are probably right. Carry on...

Bit of a big qualifier at the front and end there, but I think I would take that bet.
