Worst Brick - Terry Brands

A.J. Ferrari should send Terry Brands a gift basket for the 5 minute lung break he got.  That match was about to get ugly right before he threw that ridiculous brick.  Ferrari was GASSING.  

Terry can't help himself, he always thinks he needs to be part of the action.

Mr. Fast Twitch actually is anything but.  He's quite ponderous.

compare that w/ cool & composed cael and it's like a night & day difference.

diff styles, I guess, but I agree being overly energetic / excited leads to mistakes like this one. the ref only watched the reply for like 5 seconds.

I forget which match it was now (Ayala maybe?), there was a questionable TD situation where someone went to their back, and it was scored TD but no back points.   The Brands threw a brick and IIRC they were wanting nearfall, but I was thinking it would be funny if they just wiped the TD off.  I believe they ended up keeping it as scored on the mat.

In this tournament alone I have watched the Brands get Ayala a TD in the semis and have a TD wiped off for Shumate against Buchanan. The review in the 197 semi took about a minute and was a good challenge.  I could definitely see 2 swipes being awarded.

Tbh the Brands bros are probably the best in the country in brick usage.

Sure Terry should be given a fake brick to chew on in the corner so he doesn't throw the real one.  But what about Ryan?  His kids is scored td & 2 nf to go up by 3 but he throws the brick wanting 3 nf.  Long review they wave off the nf and buckeyes lose the match.
