BuckyBadger Posted March 10, 2025 Posted March 10, 2025 What happened with him this year? Last year he looked like he was on the verge of being a title contender. Barring injury, I can’t think of someone that looked so good and then had a complete drop off.

creek chub Posted March 9 Posted March 9 Stewart had some family health issues that impacted his personal, academic and wrestling during his sophomore year. From my understanding he was ineligible to compete any where this season. Rumor was he tried to transfer to nc state but that didn’t pan out. His dad is a full tilt drama queen and damaged his brand and standing at VT and likely most other schools that would have him.

Someone in the Twitter thread tweeted his close family member who was sick had passed away. I hope the latter isn't true. TJ's Mom had been battling cancer last year.
