Has there been any news about David Evans from Penn State?  He's been in the portal a couple weeks. He's solid,  he had a pretty close matches with Kasak and Bartlett going overtime with both of them in the last couple years.

With Dean Peterson and Leo DeLuca onboard, I wonder if Cruz would care enough to transfer again to a place where he can start.  He'd be an upgrade for most teams out there.

The initial question was about Cruz who is also buried on the depth chart. Nobody ever insinuated Iowa was losing starters or future contributors.
