Is Angelo already better than A.J.?

A Ferrari vs Ferrari comparison...who was better at this point in time (true freshman season)?  I'm thinking it's Angelo?

 

Actually Angelo is probably better than A.J., straight up right now.

You think they could break the record for most NCAA titles by a pair of brothers?  Where does that record stand?  Pat and John Smith have 6 between them.

AJ's 2021 run at NCAAs was pretty impressive in retrospect.  He beat Tanner Sloan, Jacob Warner, Myles Amine, and Nino Bonaccorsi in a row.  All would end up wrestling in an NCAA final at one point in their career.  Beating Myles Amine is probably more impressive than anything Angelo has done this far.

I think if Carter wins the Staroccis would be tied for third.  The Peery brothers are both 3xers.  I missed them earlier.
