How in the world did the government spending get so far off the tracks? In less than a month Elon will and his 20 year olds will pry 1 trillion dollars out of the politicians cold dead hands. will

The difference between the US TODAY and the US Leadership in the past... this gutless bill.

Just a disaster.

In the 50s... we did what we had to do to pay down the debt. Now...we're just totally indifferent.

People mock Medicare For All...fine. It'll add to the debt. I'd argue that it'd end up saving people a LOT of money in the long run, but...that's the argument. Well, you're 36T in debt, you'll add more this year, the President has literally floated the idea of just...not paying the debt and declaring a type of bankruptcy so he can renegotiate lower interest rates...but we're going to add a bill that adds 5-6T over the next decade.

I don't understand how anyone can defend this.

Is there a native English speaker near you who can help you?

Do you need help deciphering that coded message? If not I corrected it.

at in laws.. huge dems.. listening to tv in background to hearings..

a question... about medicare payments overseas... not sure about time length..

2.7 TRILLION

This is what makes you and Husker talking about how stupid the left is...absolutely HILARIOUS!

You heard this "in the background to hearings," and you believed it? About Medicare Payment...overseas?

By the way, why are subsidies for OIL companies considered... fine, but these just ridiculous, fake numbers that you listened to "in the background," and believed.

Talk about misinformation. This is on par with the "hundreds of millions" of people 150-200 years old are getting social security payments.

What ‘subsidies’ do oil companies receive?

Are you unaware that the United States pays tens of billions of dollars subsidizing the Fossil Fuel industry? It's at nearly 1T since 2000. 25B a year.

Exceptions for Publicly Traded Partnerships- So they don't have to pay taxes on revenue

Percentage Depletion Allowance -They can deduct their revenue...usually more than their capex was to begin with.

Manufacturing deduction-Just cause

I've honestly never heard of anyone who DIDN'T know we subsidized the hell out of the Oil industry... but...you should look it up on your own. I think you'll find the whole, "lets get rid of waste and fraud," nonsense their chanting is...pretty insincere. Even when they're making record profits often tax free...

You need a dose of reality.  Those aren’t subsidies to the oil companies, they’re subsidies to you.  The oil companies could easily pay the higher taxes, but they’d have to charge more for the products that you and every other poor schlub has to buy.  So who’s getting the benefit?

Are you just another version of Jimmy?

You made a claim that 2.7T of mis appropriated funds for Medicare were sent overseas. Not sure the timeframe.

You then posted a link to back that up that doesn't even come CLOSE to doing that.

You guys love the moving target game.

Jesus Christ... I now see why so many people need to be on Adderall.
