This restarts the PA pipeline to Iowa like when Spencer came to Iowa. Bo will be the next Lee.

Lee won 3 and was an expected 4 timer. Not sure Bassett is quite like that.

They definitely came in with the hard close of cash after the PSU/Iowa dual...

Bo said earlier all the NIL dollars were comparable which I now entirely don't believe because that decision doesn't get fast tracked with that order of events and timing with similar money...

I mean Bo will be THE LEE at Iowa. Clearly that is very important to him. At Penn State he’s just one of many top wrestlers.

Don't say that! Your predications have a really bad track record!

All sales cycles.  Have hard closes.   100% of them.  You live for the close of your in sales.   That’s the reality life of sales.  Psu didn’t close hard.  That’s on them if they lost.

I don't agree. Iowa did have something PSU doesn't, the willingness to keep him at the center of the narrative.

Sounds like a lot of Greed was involved in his decision. Thought he was a man of God

I don’t think it was most about the money. It was about becoming the sole focus of the team and the fan base. Iowa can do that for him.

$ is relevant in recruiting now.  Until ncaa outlaws it (no idea they even care).   Out selling.   Out buying is the new norm.

how many years were there rumors the nlwc struck deals / post grad / otc / or otherwise were there.  Plenty if I remember.

sour grapes psu peeps.

Does Iowa have any other top recruits in the middle weights?  I know they’ve got some good lightweights and upperweights, but at first glance the middleweights seem thin.  I wonder if likely not having to worry about getting in the lineup was a factor

Except it wasn't a sale. It was a buy.
