Oklahoma is a hellhole too, but it's a hellhole with David Taylor.

Re hellholes: (modified for context)  "Everything between Philadelphia and Pittsburgh is Oklahoma"

Btw all athletes bitch about their coaches periodically. What was the harshest thing DT every said (thought) about Sanderson? E.g. "Fewkka dodgeball. I'm 10 over you bald bastard!"

Record breaking NIL sounds like Oklahoma State to me.

I was thinking OK State originally, but the timing initially threw me off of that idea.  But the Ross commitment around the same time has me back to thinking it is.

With this long drawn out process made to keep people guessing.........I'm now thinking it's not Okie State by that first Twitter post with the Okie State picture front and center, twice as big as all the other pics. This months long soap opera and he's just going to have the huge Okie State pic before he announces?!?!

I'm now at 60% Iowa, 20% PSU, 20% Okie State. Dark horse: Ohio State

My gut says Okie State. He is the kind of talent that will win a title anywhere he goes.

I see him as a 4x pretty high AA, but not sure if he will win a title, especially with a lot of the guys that could be in his way.  Ironically maybe a Daton Fix type, which of course would still be a great career.

What I’m nervous about with him is how much more he can improve, considering he already has an entire wrestling facility in his basement and great workout partners.

I received a text last night that he has a $5 million dollar a year deal with incentives to stay each year from Iowa. This is from a friend with slight inside information. Don’t kill the messenger lol

More power to him if true ... but idk. Sounds like an ol' "full-ride" story.

Re "if he stays": lotsa loopholes here. Who's his agent/attorney?

Re PSU and $5 million: why not let him commit to whomever for the initial big payday and see if he dominates from the jump. If he does, PSU could always swoop in after the fact and pay him >$20 million for 3 years without incurring the initial risk of buying a lemon.

Again, this all sounds like fantasy $$$.

And, again, the kid can't wrestle all 10 weights nor claim all 8 AA spots in a weight. If PSU is routinely fielding 5 finalists, Bassett and whatever team he chooses is gonna need a lot of help.

While still a great career, it would also be the funniest possible outcome for his career.

You could very well be correct. One thing I have learned is that the NCAA level is an entirely different animal, and there are levels upon levels at that level.

Bo just announced his final four are PSU, OK St, Iowa, VaTech.

(meaning Michigan, Rutgers, Ohio St eliminated)

If he goes to:

PSU: Swayed by Starocci's impressive mindset

Iowa: Swayed by Terry's snow shoveling ability

OKST: the cowboy mascots face will be replaced by Bo's

Tom Ryan Tan University: he is allured by the power of positive infinity

Anybody else: bags of cash

Edit: I posted this just before he announced his final four. Unfortunately, I don't have anything dumb to say about VaTech

Penn St

Ok St

Iowa

Virginia Tech

So hes actually announcing tomorrow now?

Going on flow to list a top 4 teams of which he has already decided his pick from is a weird move. He did deny all the insane amounts of money being thrown around though.

Didn’t someone say they would eat a hat if tOSU wasn’t in the top 4?  Maybe Bo wants to see that

That was the plan I heard earlier. On FRL today. Announcing his pick on Flo tomorrow.

When CP asked him his final four, Bo gave them in this order:

Penn State

OKST

Iowa

VT

I think this is another clue that it isn't Penn State. He's not going to say the name of the school he committed to first. This, along with the big front and center pic of OKST on Twitter rules them out too. Iowa, stamp it!!
