UNI continues to look very good.   Figs, Schultz and Ruiz the only winners for ASU.  Vazquez was leading Realbuto in the third before being taken to his back and pinned (Realbuto would have been leading even without the pin though).  Valencia got the first TD of the match against Keckeisen.

Cory Land was not happy with the ESPN+ announcers

I"m an ASU fan and this was hard to watch...the result wasn't a surprise but the Sun Devils just seem to have no heart this year, no fight. With a few exceptions it looked like they were just going thru the motions and were already mentally beaten.

I wouldn't be surprised if the Larkin boys are taking a good look at the transfer portal.

It wasnt great but ASU could have won 133 and 149. Both rough losses. If they win those two and Nico pushes for the major it doesnt look as bad. If that happens i think the score is 17-24 UNI. Vasquez getting pinned after looking gassed was a low light, and giving up all the techs didnt help.

Surprised to see Vasquez gassed - he moved up a weight so it shouldn't be a weight issue.  He could still AA, but he is on the outside looking in. He doesn't seemed to have developed as well as I thought he would. Same with Chlebove. He seemed to make jumps last season and has looked a little flat. Schultz just seems like he is done. Ruiz is a nice spark for th team. He has looked pretty decent this season.  On top of Larkin, where have Ysaguirre, McClane and Manville been?

I believe Yas is dealing with injury. McLane would guess the same. Aziz at 184, where is he? Acciardi at 197 missing in action.

so many Sun Devils MIA this year...Larkin, Yas, Aziz, Cael (although he wrestled this week)....it's bizarre. What's going on in tempe?

Acciardi just got teched by Voelker, unless that’s what you mean by “missing in action”

So, Cory Land doesn't understand how ESPN works wrt college wrestling and announcing.  He probably thinks that ESPN rolls up a tractor trailer or two and sets up all the cameras, microphones, and has a dedicated announcing booth staffed with the best announcers.
