Twice today I wanted to see Poulin matches, paid 150 for subscription and both times can’t, only worthy finale match.  Watch Oh St bear Oregon St on Big Ten + with no issues and to be honest, the venue was way more full then the Scuffle

Stewart didn't exactly fight to get off his back.

The VT forum agrees and some voiced some choice words. It seems TJ’s daddy chimed in too and appears to be getting in arguments with VT fans. That’d be embarrassing for a wrestler to have a parent arguing with fans.

So... why did Stewart gave up so easily?

Anyone care to speculate?

Is nit mojo THAT powerful?

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Well, the nits are not going to take 149 title... Williams of Little Rock to care of that. 10-5 dec... late TD made it closer than it really was.

Fans should be supporters imo. I don't understand bad mouthing your own team. TJ is clearly not the same this year. Not sure what's going on, but wish him the best

It's fair to criticize an athlete when they don't show effort. Stewart gave up the second Ryder stopped him when he was looking to roll through. Not even a kick of the feet before the pin. I also wish him the best and hope to see him round back into form.

Meanwhile... a rare Brown win by Saito @ 157, over Petersen of No Dak St, 6-3

Agreed.
But from what my buddy says, his dad set the climate on the board and pi$$ed off a couple posters who pointed to the obvious lack of effort not withstanding his injury recovery that has hampered his season so far. It sounds like the majority of fans support TJ but are getting tired of his dad’s drama which apparently goes back to his high school days too.

I'd be very interested to see what Cole Mirasola weighed in at this morning. Curious to see how big he'll be able to get for next season.

😉Penn State Berkey Creamery should give him some help there...

Totally agree with you; criticism is fair. I'm talking about badmouthing. I didn't see the VaTech board or the "choice words" the other poster is referencing, but I've seen plenty of boards saying their guy at X weight sucks, etc.

Oof, yeah that's unfortunate. I understand the dad's instinct to defend his kid, but sounds like he's just making things worse
