There were no undefeated wrestlers in that bracket correct?  And the 2 loss wrestler was not seeded over either of the 1 loss wrestlers.

I got the bracket 100% wrong.  O'Toole and Mesenbrink both undefeated.  Two loss Carr was 4th.... despite being a NATIONAL CHAMP.

However, I'm pretty sure that the current formula with have undefeated Wyatt at #2 over one loss Daniel Gregory.

Emphasis on TWO with one being to Ramirez.  Had he only had one loss to KOT at Big 12s then he gets the #2 seed.

Last year O'Toole and Mesenbrink were the undefeated wrestlers.  Carr came in with 2 losses & got penalized with the #4 seed because of his loss to Ramirez

Brackets show KOT 24-1 and MM 26-1.

This sounds like a sig bet but way to much season ahead to get into a post season bet at this point.

Yes, way too early because I also think Feldman will sneak in a victory over Kerk before NCAA's.  I think Kerk places higher come March but Feldman has the recipe to get one over him

I'm betting Feldman is out for a couple three weeks but good time to be out.  Looked like torn cartilage to me.

I thought this was a joke at first. A damn funny one at that. But I see what you mean. Still, if the seeding committee could know the final records of the wrestlers before the tournament even started, we wouldn't need to have a tournament and could just lay there content in our Matrix pods.

With the tubes and the gloop.

On another note, I hope everybody discussing Hendrickson and Kerk goes back and watches that world championship gold match where Hendrickson got injured. I was ASTONISHED that he showed up for the All Star match. Lots of heart shown, but bad decision in hindsight. Can't explain the Davison loss, though.

By the way, the correct answer is Byrd. Lucas Byrd.

It sure did.  I have two ribs that stick out more than the others because of that injury.  I am in no way as tough as Nick Feldman, but they don't heal easy.

(the first one was in a victory over a D1 AA 🙌; the second was wrestling my son in practice two years ago... I was showboating and well, stuff happens.  I am officially retired.)

I'm with ya. If you are telling me Feldman is dealing with injury, but Kerkvliet is not, it is Kerkvliet all day. And even an uninjured Feldman who lost to Ghadiali is a big underdog.

I was sitting mat side, he was in a lot of pain but location looked like cartilage.  I'd say he will be fine first dual in January.  Eric Seibert won an NCAA title less than 2 weeks after and without getting on the mat until first match.

Ill go in order of most to least confident:

Gable
Hendrickson
Parker
Alirez
Mendez
Henson
Crookham
Ramos
KOT
Hamiti
AJ Ferrari (I'm putting into place a 10-match minimum which I could see him not hitting)

He'll be fine after Dr Phillips does a cartilage transplant, maybe add an extra one, 3 vs 2 might give him a chance against Kerk.

I got caught with similar comment before.  Don’t know when they changed it.  I prefer the going into the tourney record fwiw.
