Occupations with the highest share of noncitizen US workers:

  1. 49.2% plasters and stucco masons
  2. 41.8% agricultural product sorters
  3. 38.3% drywall and ceiling tile installers
  4. 36.8% roofers
  5. 35.6% other agricultural workers
  6. 32.5% painters and paperhangers
  7. 31.9% flooring installers
  8. 30.9% cleaners
  9. 28.6% construction laborers
  10. 26.8% masonry workers

But all these deportations will bring down grocery prices, assuming you do not want your food sorted, or picked, or anything else.

I've always believed the food all goes to the same place where its mixed up before digestion so why sort it before?  😉

Also if these folks are working the above then they are getting paid and paying taxes.  They probably aren't criminals and thus aren't the folks targeted for deportation.

How sweetly naive.

Yeah, and that is why NYC and Chicago and Denver along with others budget money for the aliens upkeep so they can go out to the farms and haul food and then come back to the big city and enjoy their comfy digs.   Who's naive in this picture?

By the way, the stucco I can vouch for.   When I worked plastering in Phoenix back in the day, the finishers were all Mexican and they were truly artisans.  When immigration came, the place was vacated very quickly.   No more work for that day.

We worked in Phoenix near Bell Road and then we got another job doing the same thing but in Gilbert.   We lived in Chandler so thought that was a better deal.   Paid more too.

I know they (Chicago) are going back and forth trying to raise my property taxes again for the second time in 3 years…. To pay for illegals.

You never tire of being wrong. Obama deported 5 million, which was far less than either Bush or Clinton. Maybe that isn't on Tiktok.

You also didn’t answer what negative consequences came out of his mass deportations.   Were they labeled far left at the time?   Were they labeled racist?    Were they anti American? is it just orange man bad fear?

Americans occupy the majority in all fields.  There are no jobs Americans won’t do.

There is a difference between deporting people who have just entered or are attempting to enter and those who have been here for years, or decades and are working in the construction trades or supplying our food. Obama deporting 5 million new arrivals over 8 years is VERY different than Trump wanting to deport 20 million now. The inflation that so bothered you will only be worse.

No it won’t.  Inflation wasn’t caused by union onion pickers.

Aaaah.  You can only deport the new ones?  Weird.  I’m sure that was documented somehow when Obama deported more than any president ever.

You still didn’t tell me why there are no negative consequences to Obama deporting more than anyone ever.  But yet Trump is gonna ruin everything.

if we can deport all the new ones.   Can Trump just deport every single one Biden let in?   They’re new no?

Why do you keep repeating the lie? Just because it works so well for Trump?

And yes time makes a difference. Those who have been here are the guys who mow your lawn, bus your tables, clean your dishes, gather your food, perform your labor, and man 30-50% of construction jobs, an industry already short of labor.

If you can’t admit the guy who deported the most humans in human history from the United States….. was wrong.

you can’t say the guy who wants to deport equal or more is wrong.

Just deport all the new people Biden let in.  Case closed?

Longer answer related to 2, 4 & 5.

I think its hard to tell for sure what the numbers mean.  Was back for harvest in Oct, still had a week of corn before switching to bean.  I'm usually on the combine for beans but was hauling corn to the feedlot.  Basically its dump the semi on a big outdoor pad or into portable augers they have a crew that pile it up 3 locations prob 3 to 5 million bushelstotal, some big piles.  In past the crew was Mexican this year different, I'm not sure.  Usually you expect the head guy can speak English.  This year pretty much all hand signals but one time he needed to communicate so spoke into phone and showed me the English, the words didn't make sense but I knew what he wanted.  Now the question is were these guys year round with the feedlot or just a part season harvest ag crew which is a special visa.  I'm sure they were noncitizens so how does it count?  Guessing this might be #2 but it was all corn not really sorting.

Second example when I was visiting farms related to startup one of the big issues was labor especially truck drivers.  Really difficult to find folks who don't have a dui or accident history.  A couple infractions and you lose your CDL.  One of the operations was hiring South African farm workers for fall operations,  these guys could speak English.  Wouldve been non citizens but temporary work visa. Prob cat #5.

Third example couple years before we moved had hail damage our area of town, bunch of folks need new roofs.  Lot of outside roofing companies were knocking on doors.  We went with one of the best local and a wrestling friend of mine.  When they started the actual  job I had a question, guy on site had to call the guy who spoke English to come over.  Again good chance the crew local contracted were at least part or all non citizens but were they living in US year round or part time workers?  #4

Who here honestly thinks that there is going to be "mass deportations" on day 1??  Who thinks this is even remotely possible logistically?  I am pretty sure the new boarder czar said they will be targeting those who have criminal pasts and/or committed crimes while here.  In my opinion, this will take most of the 4 years Trump is in office anyway.  Especially considering you have idiot mayors and governors who openly admitted to not helping in anyway.

They better help or Homan will get them for harboring a fugitive which is a federal felony offense.  Homan has said it, so I expect he will get cooperation even if grudgingly.

Who thinks there will be 200% tariffs on day one, who thinks Trump will become a dictator on day one, who ... ?  We could keep going ...

Yeah, it would not take too much I think.   Homan has already threatened to jail the Denver mayor if he refuses to provide known info.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/trump-border-czar-tom-homan-jail-denver-mayor/story?id=116235385

Incoming border czar Tom Homan says he's willing to throw Denver Mayor Mike Johnston in jail over his protests about mass deportation.

"But look, me and the Denver mayor, we agree on one thing -- he's willing to go to jail, I'm willing to put him in jail because there there's a statute. It's Title 8 United States Code 1324 (iii). And what it says is it's a felony if you knowingly harbor and conceal an illegal alien from immigration authorities. It's also a felony to impede a federal law enforcement officer," Homan told Hannity during an interview on Fox News last night.

This section of law is as follows:

(iii) knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;

Wonder how many of the blue city mayors play ball with Trump?  I know in Chicago black residents are almost daily yelling at mayor Johnson in town halls and the like for forgetting about the people who essentially got him in office….   I hope I can bet on the next mayoral election lol  cause I think there is a 0% chance he is re elected

here is an unedited tik tok of Eric Adams from nyc blaming Biden/harris for 6.4 billion dollars of migrant related nonsense….
