Should be some Great match ups if most schools send their starters

They should, the event is formatted specifically to make it friendly to that.

Penn state sent most of their lineup last year I would expect everyone that's not in the all-star which unfortunately is like half their lineup.

potential matchups I'm excited for off the top of my head:

Spratley vs Lilledahl - I know we've seen it before in freestyle, but I am on board with the people expecting a big jump from Spratley this year and folkstyle obviously changes things a bit as well.

Shapiro Vs Kasak - honestly my pick potentially for the finals at NCAA's I think Kasak could have a bit more variance but I really expect Shapiro to dominate this year.

Richie figs Vs lilledahl or spratley or both!! - Not much needs to be said I think figs could present Lilledahl the most interesting matchup on his feet they both like to operate from space to an extent and figs is very hard to takedown clean because he wrestles the edge so well.

Lucas Byrd vs Noto vs Davis - Should allow us to see how Davis looks moving up my only worry is that last year he would hit that double and pull shots in on guys and I'm curious if he has issues doing that up at 133 and if it will take time for him to adjust.

Crookham vs the field - he should hit one or two good guys I expect him to control this weight this year but this well tell us if film and adapting to his style occurs this year.

Matty singleton vs Hamiti - I think if Hamiti puts it on singleton watch out this year but I also expect big things from singleton this season so really looking forward to this potentially.

This format always has me wonky.  How is it determined again?  How do they format it?

Have the pools been set? I'm looking forward to Hamiti as well as Haines up at 174. A Figs and Spratley rematch would also be good, though I'm under the impression that Richie tends to wrestle far off his peak in the preseason. Maybe I'm misremembering.

Spratley and Hamiti?   Where are you getting this?  First event on their schedule is Nov 15th.

Yeah I saw that but given just had wrestle offs and getting ready for first event on schedule next week this has to be non starters.  Thus can't image that Spratley & Hamiti (can I get a fly guarantee) will be there.  That said I've been wrong before and I know how to hide a post.

Just basing it on the teams entered, last year most teams brought their starters but without knowing who's going I was just speculating on potential matchups.
