True. I think it was pretty obvious what they were doing. I don't support lawfare regardless of party.

Can we start from the point that the subject of the thread is wrong.  Jack Smith has not dropped charges. Go from the standpoint of the DOJ is looking at some processes.

I couldn't bring myself to type out Biden's DOJ since I don't know where that guy is. But you are correct.

I think it’s the right play.  Why waste the time and man hours (and our money) when you know it’s going to be dropped.

He still has sentencing in the NY case, and the Georgia case is on pause until the answer on Willis.  Will be interesting to see how it all plays out.

Does New York give him a 20 day sentence or something, so he gets out on 1/19? 😂

I bet they all go away.   100% away.  And the media will forget about that.

No we've learned from Covid you can do business work from anywhere.  AF1 has the capability to stay aloft for long extended time while managing communications and operations all over the world.  Joe Biden's last major act as President will be to build JH1.

I would bet Money the GA case will go away but Merchan is extra pissed now so he will try to stick Trump however he can.

I just saw a clip of the DA from NY threating DT...was sort of ironic some of the things she was saying...the first thought going through my mind was something about the color of a pot and a kettle...

First lesson in law school is to never piss off the judge in your own case. The Trump legal strategy is deny, deny, delay, avoid responsibility, and keep it up until the other side realizes that they're just going to waste their time. In a criminal case, they don't care. They'll just sit and wait for you because they aren't going to get bored or realize they may walk away with nothing like a civil case may go. His only strategy was to delay things long enough and hope he was able to get elected again to put this off due to long-standing tradition, not any specific legal doctrine.

He is a grifter who lives on credit and whatever transactional goodwill he has built up, and much like how he has "done business" he has done in politics by making himself valuable in some way. In this case he's tricked people into thinking he's some kind of self made, tough guy, blue collar success when all he did was be born rich and have a wealthy dad who indulged him.

I think that's what bothers me is the lying and avoidance of responsibility. I've never once heard him apologize or take responsibility. It's always somebody else's fault.

Survey question.   Not necessarily for you but not necessarily not.  Does your trump derangement syndrome get better or worse post election?  Inquiring minds want to know.

I extra chuckle when I read folks from here, who have spent hours upon hours upon hours around here starting new threads and/or cannot get out of threads about Biden/Harris, going back and forth between here and TikTok for their videos…..and then throw out __DS on someone.

You caught me, I have this debilitating syndrome that will not allow me to download TikTok.

Good thinking. And sharp comeback.

Anytime.  Just follow the coastline until you get to the town that has all the canals.  Enter the canals and follow the hickory smoke.
