NBC's "Saturday Night Live" may have broken federal regulations governing airtime with the appearance of Vice President Kamala Harris this weekend, an FCC official said.

FCC Commissioner Brendan Carr says the appearance may have violated the equal time rule, a requirement that public broadcast organizations offer comparable time and placement to qualifying candidates during a major election.

Carr said Harris' appearance on SNL may have broken the rule if NBC did not also send an invitation to former President Trump.

"This is a clear and blatant effort to evade the FCC's Equal Time rule," Carr wrote of Harris' appearance. "The purpose of the rule is to avoid exactly this type of biased and partisan conduct - a licensed broadcaster using the public airwaves to exert its influence for one candidate on the eve of an election. Unless the broadcaster offered Equal Time to other qualifying campaigns.”

But if so then why didn't they stop it before she went on?  Everybody knew she was heading there.   There's really no penalty if she did break a rule.  What are they going to do kick her out of office after elected and turn the Presidency over to Walz?

Actually a fair amount of the vids today edit the smack him in the azz out.  Superb journalism lol. .   They replaced it with babble so lol.  That must have been an interesting editing room.

I would say half of them were legitimately fired. Yes, breaking up is hard to do. But necessary.

Which would suggest that Trump is very poor at hiring, if he needs to fire so many of his hires. Someone with that poor judgement should not be president.

No matter what we say or think one of these two candidates will be elected President on Tuesday. If it's really close and Pennsylvania is the deciding factor it will be Thursday or Friday before we know anything. Some people will melt down and some of us will just go about our normal lives.

Trump was not a politician and did not know what he didn't know.  He explained this in the Rogan interview.  He admits his mistakes.  Now that he understands, he's assembled a team ahead of time.

I’ll be honest: if the censorship party wins or if this election is even close, I’ll need to take some personal time off work. I’ve never felt so disheartened or had such a low opinion of people in my own country. I think I’ll just go touch some grass.

These elections are getting crazy. I thought I had seen everything with the Trump vs Clinton election. Then along came the Trump vs Biden election (insane). Now we have set a new bar of absolutely nuts with the Trump vs (Biden) then Harris election. Ohio is spending 467 million dollars just on the senate race there. I believe as a whole all federal elections included is over 17 billion dollars.

The answer is that Trump has had VASTLY more turnover in his administration and historic and unprecedented numbers of former officials refuse to back him.

Jordan Peterson calls them the X Team.  Elon Musk; RFK Jr.; Tulsi Gabbard; J.D. Vance; Vivek Ramaswamy.  Highly intelligent, accomplished, patriotic, energetic in their support for Trump.  There is no comparable group for Harris.  Peterson dispels claims of Trump’s narcissism, pointing out that narcissists don’t seek out intelligent people for counsel.  That is a trait more associated with Kalamela.
