Does anyone know if Sammy Sasso is back practicing at OSU ?

There is a thread that we talk about with this already:

I’m quite certain he will compete for a spot. Anyone around the program and RTC knows that he practices.  How effective when it’s time to make weight and compete is not known.

If Sammy were done, I think it'd be announced and they'd have him on staff as a volunteer assistant or something.

Like TN said, he would be wrestling 165 this season, if he does in fact wrestle. I would think we'd see him during the second half of this year.

Are you some sort of Buckeye insider and don't want to tip your hand because it will give away your identity?

I wasn't alluding to anything besides the fact that Sasso making 165 isn't going to be what holds him back.

"Insider knowledge and well connected" be damned, there's no conspiracy theory here...

Of course not. I don't know the guy personally and even as a PSU fan I am rooting for him to make a comeback. I just think getting shot the way he did is terribly difficult to come back from in general without even adding in wrestling. And wrestling is REALLY hard so that's where my opinion comes from. However, I am just an idiot on a message board so I could certainly be wrong here.

Nothing more annoying than someone alluding to a rumor on another board.

Tom Ryan loves Sammy Sasso but he isn't going to gift him the 165 spot if he can't earn it outright.

I don't like speculating at such things but it happens all the time.
