Good grief he's held the title/office for 3 yr 9.5 mo.   If you weren't worried about that why worry about Trump, he might have issues but no signs of dementia.

At this point, they’re grasping for anything.

Trump's ot dementia and is hitler and is a nazi and is a rascist and he needs to be locked up, and he's just too exhausted to do any interviews as he does 2-3 rallys a day and goes on shows all the time.

The Ds are completely out of ideas so they go to the Hitler and rascist card.  It's all they got.

I was concerned from the start. Didn't want him to be the candidate.

You continue to deflect. Biden isn't running.

Yes, Trump is a problem in many ways. A candidate isn't limited to one type of incompetence.

Well if we are going with the incompetence argument then Mike Johnson should be acting President right now.

NOt sure what your point is. More deflections.....

Biden isn't up for election, for the next 4 years or even for now. There isn't currently a vote going on (or that is possible) to determine whether he stays in office.

Unbelievably pathetic deflection.

Everyone up until the debate was great with Biden (possibly you are an exception).   He ran circles around his staff in meetings. he was great in private, you should see him in private - amazing.   He has  more energy and we can hardly keep up with him.

These are the things that were said of him right up and just after the debate.   Oh he had a bad debate but that's all it was, he is 100%.   He was so bad that it became apparent that they needed to do something and kick him out was it.  I figured it would go to CA governor, but was surprised Harris was chosen but not surprised.  The reason Biden is not up for election is because he is incoherent and can't keep a train of thought.   That came out in the debate.

You sound like Kamala when she was asked why joe left the race, the NBC interviewer said  it was because of the debate and kamala said you'd have to ask him.   Then the interviewer said that's why you are here.   And she said, Joe Biden is not running for President.

Here is the transcript;   https://abc3340.com/news/nation-world/harris-dodges-question-about-biden-exit-claims-she-was-honest-about-mental-acuity-joe-kamala-election-donald-trump-white-house-november-2024-presidential-hallie-jackson-nbc-news

Vice President Kamala Harris said Tuesday she has been completely forthcoming about President Joe Biden’s mental acuity, but dodged a question about his decision to exit the presidential race.

That comment, made during an appearance on NBC News, touched on the president’s disastrous debate performance against former President Donald Trump in June. Harris said she saw no indications Biden had shown signs of cognitive decline before or after the debate.

"Joe Biden is an extremely accomplished, experienced and capable in every way that anyone would want if they're president,” Harris said.

“You never saw anything like what happened at the debate night behind closed doors with him?" NBC reporter Hallie Jackson asked.

"It was a bad debate,” Harris replied. “People have bad debates."

"But that's the reason why you're here and he's not running for the top of the ticket," Jackson countered.

"Well, you'd have to ask him if that's the only reason why," Harris said.

Harris then appeared to scramble when asked to explain why she became the Democratic nominee in place of Biden.

“I'm running for President of the United States,” Harris said. "Joe Biden is not."

These kinds of concerns are not the concerns you and others have regarding Trump.   You and others don't like him and will say whatever (true, false or fabricated) to drive concern into his candidacy.  That is the central issue of hte question you have been avoiding.   it was clear last year that Biden was failing and no one admitted it.   He was great, what you talkin  bout Willis?   No one was concerned but those on the right.   Everyone should have been concerned like you say you are.   Everyone.   We don't need a Pres who obviously cannot function in his job.  You may say that about Trump but where are your receipts?   Kamala had to take a day off yesterday, Trump is doing multiple campaign stops daily.

I don't like Trump as a person.  I don't like Kamala even more.  His handling of policy when president gave us great economic advantage over what Obama called the new normal of lame growth.   He showed the lie that was Obama's new direction and he is showing the lie that Biden has directed our country in a positive direction.   As pointed out by Bret Baier, 79% of people think the country is headed in the wrong direction.    That is not Trumps's fault.

It’s interesting the reaction you get when you agree (accurately so) that Biden was unfit, but dare make the claim that Trump is also unfit.  Seriously has anyone even listened to any of his speeches lately?

MANY of us didn't want Biden to get the auto nomination. But since that's what's happened w/ incumbents since the beginning of time, that's what happened.  Biden was better than Trump but few of us wanted him. It's that simple.

I don't have any examples of what you are talking about WR.   Please share an example or two.

What do you mean "auto nomination?"  He campaigned and won those votes correct?  Wasnt it during the primaries to voice displeasure and vote for someone else?  We have a democratic system to pick our representatives correct?

How many times has a sitting president NOT gotten the nomination?

Quite a few I think but not sure we've ever had one win the primary and then back out.

I agree that Trump has been saying some dumb things (ex. the Arnald Palmer thing...ugh), but he always has, and probably always will, but that is NO comparison to Biden and his mental decline.  Maybe I have missed something as I don't always tune in when he speaks because it is usually cringy, but if you have examples of Trump trailing off in his thoughts, not being able to answer questions except for mumbling, forgetting about what the topic of discussion was, forgetting where we he was, etc. I'd be interested in seeing it.

first graph:

he is doing a terrible job.

didn't say anythnig there about his fitness

You should try reading again, that's not what the first paragraph says. The second paragraph says his job approval is high "for him." Since we can assume that his overall job approval is being dragged down by Republicans and Independents, it was likely Democrats keeping him relatively afloat on this metric.

The 6th paragraph states that previous polls have all cited his age as a major concern about him running again. I interpret his age and his fitness to be roughly the same concern.

Different poll from 2022: https://www.nytimes.com/2022/07/11/us/politics/biden-approval-polling-2024.html

In this one he has a 70% job approval rating among Democrats but only 26% of Democrats said he should be the nominee in 2024. Concerns about his age again topped the reason for concern for him running again.

A majority of Democrats did not want him to run again. The top concern clearly had to do with his ability to do the job.

As per usual, I am not interested in going back and resurfacing things I’ve already read or looked into, and coming here to provide to people who don’t want to take the time.  You just said you haven’t, and instead want me to provide the many examples for you.  You and I have discussed this before, I’m not into that. I’m into encouraging people to make the effort to educate themselves, instead of relying on an anonymous message board poster.

There are plenty examples over the last few months of each description you stated.  And before you get into the usual  “you just hate Trump”, you may recall I was saying the same thing about Biden. Neither is anywhere near fit to be President.
