The only thing that gives me hope is that they had to send Obama and Clinton out this week to try to right the ship and both failed miserably. Why would they use that play unless their bigger plans (legal entanglements, bankruptcy, assassination attempts) had failed?

I think your are on to something there.  Trump cancelled out of the first Butler PA rally early.  Believe he was tired, hard to tell but walking away saying "sleep sleep!" ?
