They often cause the page that I’m on to refresh and they take up a good portion of the screen. I’m all for monetizing your site and getting that money. Second doesn't wrestling season start in a couple weeks yet no change to this issues. Third (think I've said before) you build a web site/forums with nice features but the allow pop ups to block features making them unusable.
