Besides what I have found on UAS wrestling anyone know of accommodations, ticket info?

I understand the teams are staying some 28 miles from venue, where they will have weigh ins also. Anyone know a bit more? Thanks

What info are you looking for?

- Venue - Sports Hall "Feti Borova" 
- I'm staying in an apartment a mile or so away. But there are tons of available options. 
- No tickets and all general admission. 
- U23s are taking place right before, so you can catch some of that too (Mens FS is the couple days immediately before)

Fly into Rome and drive or boat to Albania.   For the drive, Venice would be closer.   Not too far away.

Boat from  Bari Italy to Durres Albania.   Any excuse to go to Italy.   You might even see Chamizo and say hi to him.

That sounds dope as hell, but def check the news before heading to Italy. I was there last month and got out just before Storm Boris brought flooding and landslides

Please excuse my ignorance, but I didn't realize that the upcoming World Wrestling Championships in Albania was only for the non-Olympic weights.

Last time when I saw the Worlds after the previous Olympics in Tokyo, all ten weights were contested.

Is this something new?

No, that 2021 was something "new." (-ish)   It was because the Olympics were delayed due to covid, they just had a full 2021 worlds in the same year.  Usually (since 2012?), they only have non-Olympic weights the same year as the Olympics.
