LA Olympics we should all meet up one night and talk ridiculousness over 3 pints. I'd love it, and its more feasible for me.

2028 Forums Meet and Greet. I'd RSVP

I'll be there, hopefully as the most ridiculously dressed American.

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The ticketing is strange.  Checked again and they’ll show available at a price and than click through and that section/price is not available.

Anyhow, there are some available.

And why are you only buying a section?  Why can’t they be specific with the row/seat?
Most other events sell this way.

Lodging is reasonable if you shop around.

Lastly, the sessions seems short like 2hrs.  How many sessions are there over the course of a day?  Seems more than ncaas or Worlds.

The non-seat assignment is a thing for big events like this. The World Cup does the same thing.

You can check the resale site as well for tickets that list the row/seat in it.

There are 2 sessions but only 3 weights and a 16 person bracket. I'm assuming they are doing placing/repechage at night and the rest in the morning. So only 42 matches in the morning sessions and 21 at night.

Prices range from $53 to $1300+?

As far as I can tell the most expensive solo ticket is 209€. The high prices are for blocks of 6 tickets.

S1300 price range includes private box seats, complementary champagne, caviar, and escargot w/ all the baguettes you can eat.

(Rrrraowrrrrr!🤩)

AND free entertainment between sessions...

HI,

Anyone there yet?  I'm working on putting together last minute trip as seeing tickets on resale platform.  What's available is changing by the day.

Anyone have any idea how demand will be for MFS next week.  Will tix be gone and will those who are out dump tickets?

Ideally want to see some gold medal matches.  So looking at Sat eve session on Aug 10th.  Also looking to add earlier in the day or on Friday the 9th.

Still sketchy the seating.  Was watching a bit of judo today - in the same arena for wrestling - and seating seemed away from the floor.

Appreciate any feedback from those in the know or who are on the ground now and have a sense of how ticketing will go.

Also, doesn't seem like tix are selling anywhere else, other sites,  though read posts on Reddit and the like where people are looking to dump tix and less than face because cant make the trip.

Thanks

Anyone attend the arena yet?  How are the seats?  Even after buying and seeing the seat/row still don't know where it is in the arena!

Where is the USA section?

Thanks

No US section. People spread out all over and in their own groups. Everyone’s seats change each session it feels like. But the seats aren’t the most comfy or spacey since it’s a temporary structure. I haven’t sat in the car D yet, tomorrow morning I do, but the C was probably the best views in the house for my money.
