The other day I got auto-renewed by them with no warning.  You'd think they would have changed some policies after a class action lawsuit, but still going about their shady ways.

$50.70 is a pretty good take from them.  Just about the best possible.  Their terms of service has a liability limitation of $150.

Quote

"YOUR SOLE REMEDY FOR DISSATISFACTION WITH THE SERVICES, CONTENT, INFORMATION CONTAINED WITHIN THE SERVICES, ANY LINKED SITE, OR ANY SUBSCRIPTION PURCHASED THROUGH THE SERVICES IS TO STOP USING THE SERVICES. TO THE EXTENT ANY ASPECTS OF THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS OF LIABILITY ARE NOT ENFORCEABLE, OUR MAXIMUM LIABILITY TO YOU WITH RESPECT TO YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES IS ONE HUNDRED FIFTY DOLLARS ($150.00). THE FOREGOING LIMITATIONS APPLY EVEN IF THE REMEDIES UNDER THIS TERMS OF SERVICE FAIL OF THEIR ESSENTIAL PURPOSE."

What I find especially annoying about Flo is that is your go to their website and attempt to sign up they won't even tell you how much the thing costs until you've made an account.  Before you even see how much it will cost you've already given them your information and agreed to their terms of service.  Does any other service do this?  Seems backwards.

@Wrestleknownothing has your money, join the class action suit against him to get a nickle back.

I saw the class action suit when it came out, you had to be from like two states to be able to do it.  Neither are the states that I am from.

auto renewals are pretty standard.

but putting “$12.50 per month!!!” in huge letters and then actually charging you $150 all at once isn’t.

And then when a person complains about it to tech support, they get downgraded to $30 for one month rather than getting charged $12.50 or their full money back.  It's about as close to a scam as you can get away.
