Kasak gets 3rd after losing the first match....nuts

Say what you want about all the other PSU accomplishments for the weekend, Kasak getting third is in the conversation for the best.

More or less the same points wise that PSU would've gotten with SVN. Crazy

And then puts in a high quality interview, to boot.

Is next year the last year where the COVID bonus year eligibility non-sense ends?

No, covid was 2020.  A 2020 freshman would have gotten 4 more years to 2024, and if they took a red-shirt then they could still go in 2025, and medical or ORS could bump them to 2026.

I think still one more year. Bartlett for example I think has another year and would have a chance at 5 tournaments

Right, yes. So next year is the last year of it.

I think there are also Covid season guys who take shirts and still have a couple of seasons of eligibility left. Like Chris Cannon

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

The look of disgust by Robie when Andonian when to his back. Ooooof.

Someone is walking home.

I’m sure that’s frustrating as a coach, but his ‘reckless abandon’ style is what got him this far. You gotta take the bad with the good and I’d rather have a kid like andonian

I sure hope so. I think they need to do away with Olympic years and injury year. You enroll you get a red shirt and 4 years of competition and your done. Period.

I hope not. I want a 30 year old with 3 kids in the finals.

I think they should go to the old rule where you had to sit for 1 year after transferring.  Might be a bit of a deterrent to athletes throwing their name on the market for the highest bidder, and put a little bit of a damper on this NIL/transfer portal craziness
