So braves, assuming these 600 were mentally ill, what you are saying is that there are maybe 601-750 police encounters with mentally ill people total in the whole US every year.    Seems a little off base.   I'll bet on a daily basis there are more than 800 police encounters with mentally ill people in the whole US.   Granted that is just a guess, but I think it is not far off the mark.   Let's say it was 100 in the whole US on a daily basis.   I think that is fair.   That means there are 36,500 encounters every year and 600 are killed.   By anyone's definition, that is not usually.   What if it was 25 encounters daily.  Surely that happens.   That's 9125 yearly encounters with 600 dead.   Still not usually.   In fact that is 6.6% of the encounters.   Still not usually.

in 2021, 135 unarmed black men and women were killed by police since 2015

These articles...

There are 50M black Americans, and 75% are adults.  135 unarmed blacks killed by cops...  18% of the victims had mental issues.  The article goes on to say that white cops were involved in 75% of the shootings.  That is in line with 72% of cops being white.

Other articles add that cops kill a comparable amount of Hispanics as Blacks and twice as many whites as blacks.  While cops kill a higher percentage of the black population than whites, one's chance of being killed by a cop is 0.000N%.

She is said to have purchased the gun legally.   This person, with this many issues and arrests, bought a gun legally.   Again that tells us something some on here do not want to hear.

Can’t tell yet about this.  Stories are vague, but claim she was likely here illegally from El Salvador.  Voted in 2020 presidential election.  Had been arrested for illegal possession of a firearm.  It is illegal for an illegal to be here, to vote, or to possess a firearm.  We need more laws enforced, not written.

this article is about a prototype border fencing. In the article the it states that a concern is that more people may fall off back to the Mexican side and they won’t have any record of it happening. Must mean it doesn’t happen since they can’t record it.

Of course it doesn't happen.   Shoplifiting is down because stores do not report because police do not arrest, and courts do not punish.   So that's why stores keep closing down.   Not for shoplifting, mean CEOs.
