125 has been a close one.  Tanner Jordan with the first and only takedown of the match, but Caleb Smith hitting two reversals and racking up one set of backpoints. Final score of 6-4 in favor of Caleb Smith.

Alek Martin rode out Lovett for the entire third period but falls 6-1 decision.

We are beyond the break and into the most anticipated matchup of the night - Tanner Cook vs Antrell Taylor.  I love watching both of these guys.

Cook hit Taylor with the flying cement job - but they go out of bounds.  Taylor is lucky he got to feel that without losing points

Impressive win by Taylor there.  7-1 over Cook.

at 174 we have Bubba Wilson up from 165 in place of Elise Brown Ton.  Facing off against the red hot, CKLV winner, Cade DeVos.

this looks like the improved version of Bubba we saw in the national tournament last year.  Keeping it close with DeVos as its 4-2 here in the third.

Bubba with all of the takedown attempts.  DeVos has been operating from reattacks.  I wondered how long until he was called for stalling honestly

With Rasmusen receiving a medical forfeit at 285, it finished up as 21-17.

Tanner Jordan is a dangerous and perhaps overlooked wrestler.  I would hate to be the guy facing him in the first round of nationals

Jordan is very dangerous but for some reason loves to put himself in his back lol.

It’s interesting that Manning sent out backups at the 3 weights where SDSU was clearly favored:  133, 174, 197.  And then had Allred go at Hwt where a loss has no affect on his seeding at NCAA’s.

Good point. Bubba looked great at 174. Theabau has been the started but Bubba has proven he can win big matches
