Pretty sure Russia is running away with the U23 title at this point, right?

you have to scroll to see it on Flo but the US is technically in the lead with 3 golds and 2 bronzes plus other match wins to get to 65 points. The "Individual Neutral Athletes" are unscored as a team but have 5 golds, a silver and a bronze so... yeah (unless Belarus is absolutely KILLING it).

Edit: as I was typing AIN added another bronze.

Isn't Belarus also included w/ the AIN designation as well?

Their combined scoring does tip the scales a wee bit, no?

... unofficially, of course.

I wasn't including Belarusso gents when saying this.  They were well ahead after yesterday.  Flo was separating Russo from them as well.

By the rules, the US guys are.  By what is actually happening the Russo-gents are.

17S in and the Moldovan... who is four weight classes smaller... tries a head'n'arm throw.  Fails.

was shocked moldova didn't challenge the no call before Trumble scored to make it 8-0; don't know how the challenge would have gone but i expected it.

Thank you to Jay Aiello for beating Trumble at Final X 2022 so Cardenas kept his spot at U23 and congrats to Trumble on the gold.

That is a big win for Trumble.  This guy has been on the circuit a long time, despite being only 22 years old.

Know Russia isn't recognized as a Team. so they have zero points. They are lucky that they are allowed to participate at all.

I agree with the last part.

They are there, though.  Ergo they have the most points as a nation.

You can ignore maths or make it political all you want.  I won't.
