Y’all can hate all you want. But you know deep down Gilman and JB would perform better at this tournament. It was the same when Fix got beat out by gross. Sometimes is makes sense to send the better guy. 

This is absolutely true. Pretty much all colleges have recognized this now and do not simply go by wrestle offs. However, I’m still not sure I would want us to do that. America is the land of opportunity and I like how we provide an opportunity for someone to pull an upset an not just select who we think is best. Maybe there would be compromise but not sure how that would look? Maybe put our top guys in some international tournaments and see how they do? It would have to be multiple tournaments though because draw plays a huge factor
