Ohio coaching staff in trouble

Joel Greenlee , Cody Walters and shakur laney all placed in administrative leave , apparently 2 athletes claim to have been physically assaulted at practice ..article is pretty lean on information

On a serious note, we should all wait until the all the information comes out before passing judgement/commenting.

But on a not so serious note: I am sure they can land in Iowa City, maybe HWC can expand their coaching roster.  No background checks necessary.

On a side note Ohio U had 4 guys at NCAA's this year and scored a total of 0 pts

I’m not passing judgement just passing on information , honestly my first impression was  this is just some pissed off gen Z kids retaliating for not starting or getting chewed out but we ll see as more info comes forward

Considering a respected college coach told me that Androssy and Greenlee were pretty hew coaching only hanging on for pensions.. if this gets a program cut.. that would just make an already bad situation worse

It's not clear if the assault was by the coaches... It is possible it could have been by other wrestlers under the watch of the coaches. Whatever the case, not a good look.

With that kind of performance at the NCAA's, sounds like there needs to be some more emotion in the room. 

I have thought for years that Joel needed to go and he can take his Kent State guy with him. Get some new blood in there and make that conference something worth watching. They remind me of Minkel during his last 5 years at Michigan State.

Can’t be certain, but pretty sure I heard Greenlee snoring during duals during our time in the MAC. Dude seemed supremely disinterested most of the time.

They had brutal draws and wrestled well in their first matches.  Also, based on the season they had, 4 qualifiers was a strong finish.

Yeah their guys almost all pulled upsets in the first round as very low seeds. I was impressed by their guys honestly
