Still had literally NOTHING to do with Bono.

Even Nebraska confirmed this at the end, but...some people stay petty.

No horse in that race.

He is still a cunt.

VT was in Rowley’s top 6 schools. From what I remember, his choice came down to the badgers and VT. It seems FS is important to him so VT might be a likely spot that he’ll land

With Rowleys results at Wisconsin, will he even make the lineup at Michigan (if he chooses to commit there with the other Oregon boys)? Was the weight cut too much for him? Or Wisconsin wasn’t the right fit to elevate him?

I know it was his redshirt but he did take some head scratching losses. Nevertheless, I’m excited to see where he lands!

I would love to see him at Michigan.  I think he competes for a spot immediately, although I am more high on Walker than Maylor.  Bullock has outgrown 174 and might not even have a spot at 184.  If Woodley isn't able to go next year then the best option(s) at 197 would be Bullock and possibly Walker, if Rowley claims 174.

All of this said, I do think Griffith to Michigan is possible, so he would be 174 either way (or Amine).  That puts Walker yp to 197 with Bullock and Rowley sitting a season.

I just listened to Nagao’s Basch interview.  Between the God talk, college wrestling goals, freestyle wrestling goals, MMA goals…I’d guess there’s about a 98% chance he’s going to PSU.

Random note I thought it was odd how he kept referring to it as “opening up the portal” like we’re in a science fiction movie.

Well that wasn’t hard to predict

Mendez is most likely going to redshirt this year.  Plus, I believe that Ohio State was on his list before he committed to OkieSt.

Surprising to me Mendez would redshirt this year, but maybe you're right.  He's better than Bouzakis and D'Emilio, but maybe he takes one for the long term team...?  I don't see how it plays out.  Would D'Emilio pop up to 157 for 2024/2025 season?  Bouzakis/Mendez/Voinovich/D'Emilio?

Actual match results show otherwise.

I wondered if Michigan could be in play for Mosha Schwartz, depending on how the Oklahoma situation shakes out with their new coach.

I think Michigan was an actual option before, iirc.

Lamer dropping was a joke.  Would be cool, though.

Bouzalis beat Mendez in a best of three series.

In freestyle.  And it wasn't easy (Mendez toasting him like champagne in the other match)  I could be wrong on this, but Bouzakis wrestles too conservative for this level.  He needs to open up on offense more (though last year was a smallish sample size)
