Be sure to check spam folders if you do not see the email to verify your email address. Since we created a new email address it may look like spam to some providers.

Also be patient with the emails, not sure what is causing it but it seems to take up to an hour for emails to arrive.

Probably that first 6 feet.  😉

WiFi is spotty up here... Or down there, however you want to perceive it.

Delighted to be on board. Took nearly 2 hours for validation email to show up.

One oddity, if a topic has 2 pages I can only access either page from the main menu but once I’m in the topic I cannot switch from page to page.

You should be able to access each page at the top or bottom of the topics. Send me a screenshot of what you are seeing.

Duh! Don’t know how to take a screen shot. I can select page 1 or 2 on the main menu of topics but once I’m on page 1 I am unable to choose “next” or “2” at the top or bottom of the page. The options are there but just don’t activate. If I close page 2 of a topic on the main menu, it opens page 2 but I am unable to get “prev” or “1” to work. Signing off. Thanks.

That would be the TTL 3600 second (1hr) retry setting for the email queue. Depending on the config, it may do that for about 6 hrs or so before quitting and sending a fail message to the sender.

Not a big deal, just that MX'ers weren't available. It was part of the DNS not being propagated. More specifically, it was because it wasn't configured correctly to propagate expeditiously. May well have been because the domain registration was the limitation rather than the TTL. Just a guess, I don't know that 100%.

The emails are being sent out immediately from the Gmail account. I'll look at it more indepth tomorrow.

Cool. The NS's (and associated MX'ers) should be all go by then. Q's will flush themselves overnight. Some will get a few duplicate (retry) emails, maybe up to a half dozen or so, but no harm done.

All should be good.

I like it here. It's a great site and things, even in the first few days, still work better than years after that previous site. Not looking to be a critic, just looking to assist.

Mine took several hours but didn’t go to spam

I changed the email address it was sending from and resent a bunch. Still a few small kinks to work out with the new server and site.

Finally got mine.   DNS took a good day or so too.   Now everything is fantastic.

It appears that the IP was on a blocklist - both for the web site and the mail server.

That would explain why email not being accepted for some people, and also why the web site wasn't responding for some people either.

Good news is that I just checked the spamhaus blocklists and dozens of others, and it is no longer on the current list.

Well I guess I should come clean, @Husker_Duwas running his Only Fans in this server before this weekend.
