JD on FRL today said they got Putin money lol

Did they get to ride horses shirtless through a river though? If not they might have missed a prime opportunity to really display their masculinity…

This was the search volume on Google for "RAF Moscow" in the past 7 days - United States wasn't even in the Top 5:

Google Trends generally shows relative search interest, not the total number of searches.

  • Relative scale: Results are normalized from 0–100, where 100 is the point of highest search interest for the selected time/location.
  • Not population-adjusted in the simple sense: A value of 100 doesn’t mean “100 searches per 100 people.” It reflects the term’s share of Google searches relative to the highest point in the selected dataset.
  • Comparing regions: Trends can account for the overall search volume in each region, so a smaller place can have a higher relative interest even if it has fewer total searches.
  • No exact volume: Google Trends doesn’t tell you “this term was searched 2.4 million times.” For approximate absolute search volume, tools such as Google Ads Keyword Planner are more appropriate.

Example: If “pickleball” has a Trends score of 100 in a small state and 50 nationally, that doesn’t mean the small state generated twice as many searches. It means pickleball represented a relatively higher level of search interest there.

We have to stop deflecting and intentionally misrepresenting what people said or this thread, and subsequently every thread about RAF, will be garbage. All the poster said was American is in the name and they didn’t target the American fan base (as stated)…they just thought it was silly. You posting that Americans didn’t Google does just means you’re both right…they didn’t target the American market AND that user (can’t remember who it was) thinks that was silly.

Why would RAF have marketed a show to Americans that they couldn't legally broadcast to Americans

They did their due diligence by pulling any mentions of the broadcast from American social media as soon as legality became an issue

When the show was first announced, half the comments on social media were saying that Moscow was an active warzone, and that a wrestling show would be impossible since the city had been reduced to rubble by Ukraine

Americans are so fucking dumb, man

You’re joking, right?  Surely you’re joking.  This is a blatant lie.

RAF website directly below the ad for RAF Moscow - “stream live exclusively on Fox Nation.  Join now for $2.99”

Also, I suppose you think multiple social media posts a day doesn’t count as “marketing the event” even if they didn’t technically say where to watch it?

I understand that and the legalities that dictated the marketing. I’m just saying posting that graphic didn’t actually counter their argument in any way…just showed that despite pulling the marketing the US was still 8th in search interest. That’s a different subject entirely.

Although I could have misread your intentions there and you were just posting it to show the global marketing results …

I thought I saw marketing as well but again I could be wrong…I have X follows outside of CONUS.

Yea I can’t help people with that…the general public in Moscow can be extremely warm, welcoming people. Also, Russia is beautiful…I wouldn’t not encourage people to visit I would just say don’t be an idiot and bring weed to the airport and stuff…

I guess our comrade is being very specific and saying “marketing” only means specifically saying where to stream RAF Moscow…

Also I'm guessing when he said football he meant soccer

That might also explain him being an adult that can make 135.

Oof let me guess - you sided with the British in the American Revolutionary War.  I never thought about it, but you do have the air of a redcoat.

I forgot my American history.  Were we fighting for the right to handle a ball.  🤔

We were fighting for the right to rename the English language as "American."  Unfortunately there was a consortium of historians, librarians and school administrators who led a movement in the US from 1920 through 1950 that erased the claim made on the change in language.  Even historical records were revised to act like this never happened.  But we have been speaking American all this time.  England is a nice place - as far as museums go.  It's just not a place for modern commerce.

Just think of all the great names we could have had if Trump had been our first President ... would've been beautiful!  😉
