There has actually.

But yea as you mention most of those “influencers” will always call someone a democrat if it’s convenient for them.  Some of them even still think Vance Boelter was one…

Fox News is not considered actual reporting.  They have essentially admitted as much in court of law….and they are the only ones I have seen making such claims.

Larger point being, he was not falsely charged because of any political affiliation, he was falsely charged, and lied to us about, for the purposes of being a scape goat.

Well, hold on folks. The legal expert pedo prez with special insider knowledge is saying that doj was wrong and it was "100% vandalism."

He should have told DOJ about this before.

The DoJ has requested the case be dismissed without prejudice, which means that charges may be refiled in the future.  It may be that he did vandalize the lining of the pool, but that the part he damaged was defective, making it not so serious.  It’s like if a car knocks down a power pole, you can’t just take the pole , even damaged, it still belongs to someone else.  Anyway, it’s up to the judge now.

Trump should just prosecute it himself.

This!

It's also ridiculous that people on here are making a big stink about this guy being arrested but not charged, at this point, when stuff like that happens all the time.  Where is the outrage and unnecessary criticism the DOJ and LE then??  🙄

He said something we all knew anyway. Yes, going after somebody for vandalizing something that's already broken is a complete joke. They wasted a lot of time and money. Everybody with half a brain knew that its a defective lining, which is on the trump admin.

😂 So anyone suspected of vandalism should just be ignored if the thing they are vandalizing is already broken??  And shitty craftsmanship is Trump's fault?? 😂  Man you just keep showing how ridiculous you are...

Well you could argue trump has a hand in the craftsmanship being shitty due to him giving a no bid contract to his friend who did the and job, then driving over the completed pool in those secret service suvs probably deteriorated the craftsmanship even further lol. But usually if the government thinks that someone vandalized something, they should have some concrete proof before spending all this time and money trying to prosecute just to admit later that they really didn’t have any evidence and this was all to point blame

😂  Tell us you have TDS without telling us...

And I'll wait for the outrage for the hundreds of times each day people are arrested but never brought to trial because of lack of evidence or other extenuating circumstances.  And you know the probable cause needed for arrest is much different to then what is needed to bring charges to court, right!?  But oRaNgE mAn BaD is way better to feed your and others delusions.

Stating facts that you don’t like doesn’t equal TDS.

There’s plenty of outrage about our judicial system there are countless organizations trying to reform it due to things like this exact case. Not sure why you bring up the differences between probable case to arrest vs bring charges because these defendants had actual charges brought up. The judge didn’t dismiss it, the DOJ did. This is not a normal way to run a justice system, I’m not sure pirro has even be able to secure a conviction in her time

Yes Google

When looking strictly at cases where a suspect is physically arrested by federal law enforcement agencies (such as the FBI, DEA, ATF, or Homeland Security), the Department of Justice (DOJ) declines to bring formal charges in approximately 39% of those specific matters. According to data tracked by the Bureau of Justice Statistics (BJS), U.S. Attorneys ultimately prosecute and file charges against roughly 61% of all individuals processed through the federal arrest system

is 39% a big number ?

The defendants were apart of the 61 percent that they filed charges against. They arrested and charged these individuals, processing them through the system claiming they damaged the pool.  They have now dropped the charges after these people have been processed through the system claiming it was the contractors fault in the first place. All a huge waste of time and showing of incompetence

Doesn’t seem like that big of a deal

Is this the first occurrence in history the federal government has wasted time and money?

We are the country of freedom and liberty!!! except when the government falsely arrests you, defames you, and even comes out and says they had no reason to take away your freedom and liberty. No big deal or slippery slope at all

The DoJ didn’t say there was no reason, they are saying they want to dismiss without prejudice, which gives them the possibility of recharging him.  They likely have the evidence that he did damage, but it’s not something they want to pursue.  And now the judge will decide whether he wants to honor the dismissal or continue the prosecution.  It ain’t over yet.

The guy in charge of the doj just today said that pirro folded like an umbrella and these people should be prosecuted. It would be very weird that they have evidence that he did damage when the prosecutors admitted the damage was caused by a botched installation and no longer seeking prosecution.

The charges were dropped.  They didn’t put him in the gulag.

Mind you the communists you support eventually will support the gulag.  Fyi

The charges were dropped because the doj admitted they lied about having evidence he caused damage.

Didn’t talk long for conservatives to shift from the party of small government and against the weaponization of the doj to supporting to the literal opposite

Yawn

this depiction goes beyond what has been validated. A more accurate version would be:

"The charges were dropped after the DOJ acknowledged new evidence showed the damage was likely caused by a flawed installation rather than by the defendant, and prosecutors said they had not received that information before seeking the indictment."

So in other words, they admitted they didn’t have evidence he caused the damage, after saying they originally did have evidence he caused the damage.

long way to say the government wasn’t being truthful saying that they had evidence showing him damaging the pool. Aka lied.
