Isn’t it ironic that you are calling people baby’s for using different language than you prefer? You are the one in this scenario worked about about what language someone uses as a descriptor

Anyone is free to use whatever words they want.  I’m not calling people “babies” because they prefer a different word.  I’m calling them babies because they treat a factual word like “homeless” as an insult, then try to influence the bad moral people to stop using it.

What is the factual difference between homeless and unhoused? They both literally mean you don’t have a regular residence lol if little changes of words matter that much to you that’s snowflake behavior

So who cares if people decide to use language others don’t like? Calling people homeless compared to unhoused isn’t a crime and if you feel shame for that that’s kinda on you being a snowflake. In all the problems we have in this country some people saying unhoused is has literally no affect in your quality of life why get so worked uP about it?

Here is a good example.   The mayor of Chicago not understanding what an illegal alien is

Ok cool why does that upset you? Is the mayor making you not use illegal alien imma sentence? Who cares if you don’t like the words people say don’t listen to them?

They’re illegal aliens.  You can’t just rename them something softer because it makes your heart feel better.

Ok but why are you letting others words bother you so much? Like you said it doesn’t change anything they are still illegal aliens, why scream at the clouds all day when you have no way to change it and it literally doesn’t make your quality of life change at all

Precisely because they demand others to use their new words.

Calling us harmful, bigots, fascists, authoritarian, and all the other names for using established words does impact our quality of life.

Okay... the point is made about language policers and there is zero mind changing on that one.  Let's carry on.

Many homeless choose to be homeless.  This is fact.

That's a 110% lie. People become homeless for a variety of reasons ranging from bad luck to drug addiction to mental illness. Almost none of them "choose" to be homeless. You wingers just lie nonstop.

It’s easy

A hobo is a migrant worker in the United States. Hobos, tramps, and bums are generally regarded as related, but distinct: a hobo travels and is willing to work; a tramp travels, but avoids work if possible; a bum neither travels nor works

Many traditional homeless shelters operate under a "high-barrier" model, requiring total sobriety to enter.   Choosing to keeping doing drugs is choosing to remain homeless.

choosing drugs  over a job.  Is choosing to be homeless.

Once you're addicted it isn't 100% choice,  particularly if u r mentally ill. That's a dumb oversimplification.

You can choose to keep doing it or choose to quit.  Those with strong willpower choose to quit.  Those with weak willpower choose drugs.

"Willpower?" LOL.

Anyway, what should we do with these people with low willpower?

You can figure out how to steal or manufacture a few bucks.  You can figure out where to find drugs.  You can figure out how to jam a needle in your arm to shoot the drugs (or smoke or whatever).    You figure out how to rinse and repeat forever……

you chose this

Seriously. What should we do? Kick them to the curb? As punishment for low willpower?

Maybe we should tax the shit out of the tax payers and do nothing at all for them … 39 billion or whatever it was doesn’t seem to be working

Arrest them for theft , drugs , etc.  whatever they’re doing that is illegal they should be prosecuted like the rest of us

The compassionate thing to do would be to get them sober so they can make an intelligent decision.   That means time in the pokey or in a hospital in involuntary confinement, until their system is clear of drugs.   They may go back and use and that is a choice.   They may abstain and that is a choice.   While addicted they do not much have a choice until they hit rock bottom and many choose to quit, so they still have choice it just isn't as real until they hit rock bottom.   Getting them sober allows for clearer thinking about their situation.   That would be the compassionate thing to do.
