Brackets for U20 MFS out.

- Gold medal level match in round 1 at 61 kg (Seidel vs Khateri)

- Cortez seems to have a smooth path to the semis

- Lower bracket for 65 kg is loaded up

- Burton likely gets Gharedaghi if he gets to the semis, so a good shot at a medal

Morgan Turner vs Guatemala on Mat B for bronze coming up now

Turner in on a leg immediately; Guatemala throws in a whizzer but 2 points for Turner

Guatemala warned for passivity

Turner goes ankle pick, switches to a single and gets the step out 3-0

Turner jumps the whistle twice in a row and the ref shakes his finger at her

Guatemala gets sloppy and Turner hoes blast double for another TD 5-0

Turner goes headlock and the score says 9-0 but I think time was out; Guatemala throws the brick

Yup only the TD so 7-0 starting the second

Turner goes big 4 to end it and takes bronze

Night and day difference in Turner's wrestling between yesterday and today

finally getting through the last of the greco medal matches...

lawyers always know the best time to call...

whatever...

final thoughts...

Russia made a big statement this tourney... i did not know many of their guys, but, have been watching their age group success fairly closely for obvious reasons and the reports of their greco demise has been greatly exaggerated...

Iran a bit flat, but, still a bunch of medals and ended up second albeit by a country mile...

next 4 places you could throw a napkin over and all withing striking distance or second...

greco just wildly more competitive internationally...

reminder we have a senior contingent headed to poland next week...

Never argue with an idiot. They will only bring you down to their level and beat you with experience.

Seidel seals the match at the end with a low double to a turn and a calf cramp! I thought Khateri looked much improved from last year, Aaron is just that dude awesome showing.

The wrestling pundits gaged that match as the top two in the 61Kg bracket... to bad that was right off the bat.
