This effectively eliminates development because each country will want to send their best from previous results rather than prospects who may have overtaken their predecessors. 2) I still don't understand the math of qualifiers because there will be overlap of continentals + rankings + worlds. I am fully expecting IOC shenanigans and FILA, err I mean UWW, will kowtow to them. And for those not aware yet, Olympic team trials are very likely to take place DECEMBER 2027. i am an idiot on the internet
