Brands have been getting a lot of flack, but Iowa has had a great day

A great day after a pretty terrible season. Some will say they are peaking at the right time. Which is untrue they are banged up.so they aren't at there peak. Brands does seem to finally have them conditioned decent (finally) and they have coached well so far. But once they get into a big match I'm sure they will do something stupid like make Nasir take bottom when he is down by 2 or something dumb. But I will give them credit they guys are wrestling good and the coaches are coaching well. There I said it.

Full of un-bias blasphemy.

They've looked good, but they haven't had any big wins yet. I am 100% on my Iowa picks so far (I have Kueter losing to Mirasola). Tomorrow morning is where I have the tides turning for the Hawkeyes.

I have them losing 4 matches in the quarters with Ayala and Caliendo being their lone semi-finalists. That's right, Ayala over Blaze, baby.

I hope you're right. But I'm still taking Ayala > Blaze.

Same, and if Kennedy wrestles like he did today, he is gonna get into a world of hurt tomorrow

So is Rademacher overrated Hawks underrated or is 197 the new 149?

Rademacher is overrated, and Hawks is very good and has many good wins in his career, but also prone to losing to just about anyone in D1.

McDanel is tough enough and Rademacher shouldve just had him on his back lol may lose the match.

Rademacher is  interchangeable with a Mcdanel level guy, I think 6-12 were all basically the same guys 🙂

Lol I think Hawks  is just letting it fly and thats enough to bump him ahead of that cluster  of guys..

I dont think Hawks has anything for Novak next round, and probably fizzles out on the backside

He did. And you know what I  liked? Kelly let him up with short time to go for more. Webster did the same thing earlier. That's a positive cultural change even from last year, despite the fact that this is a big letdown year.

Said it a couple weeks ago and I'll say it again:

I don't care who OSUw has at 285, they need to let Rademacher eat and be a BIG 97kg guy. Get that young man up to 230.

He looks like a shell of himself compared to this summer.

He's not beating little Merril though. That kid is Dom Bradley 2.0 just overpowering brute with no technique but so ridiculously strong that a slick 230 can't overcome
