I have to agree with Winners Circle here. The Olympic gold medalist at 65kg is always a world class athletic freak. They will always have a significant "wow" factor, and they will always be able to score from multiple planes horizontally (upper body & legs) and vertically (distance & in tight). Who do we have in the pipeline that fits these qualifications? Our 2 best prospects, Blaze and Forrest, have the same two American qualities as always--amazing engine and elite attacks below the waist. That's enough to be in medal contention in a perfect scenario, but not to win 65kg gold in an olympic year. Where's the guy with the "wow" compared to the speed or power and variety and creativity we will see from whichever young insanity emerges from Japan, India, Russia, Azerbaijan, Mongolia, etc.?

Stanich has really really good head hands and great single leg defense but he seems to really struggle at defending doubles. I believe that's how the Japanese guy scored on him and where Topraks takedown came from that's also how Zepeda scored all his takedown's.

The full answer to this question would be more like and essay, to try to answer in short I would say: the constitution is a good study, and understanding the ‘how’ to this would require an understanding that in a government set up such as ours, that erosion is not and overnight event, but rather a process with steps. I am not saying that IS what is happening here, but I am saying it’s a slippery slope. And there is a point in that slope that once crossed, going back is very very difficult.
