  1. Past hour
  2. I remember hearing Hal Reynolds talk about when Bo threw him out at home, and how he didn't realize Bo did it, he was mad because he thought he got thrown out by a relay throw.
  3. There could easily be a world though where the only type of event is "freestyle" (use whatever technique you want to get from a to b fastest) with a sprint, middle distance, and something long for 3 events. Perfectly logical. It just so happens that in our timelines, that's not the case. If track were like swimming, you could have hop on one leg, hop on two legs, skipping, backwards running, side running, spinning races. That's the kingmaker position swimming has found itself in.
  4. That's what!!... Oh. Crap. Uhhhhh. Nothing. Nevermind. Cool topic hope it gets lots of posts and my reply just gets overlooked again... DANGIT. I mean for this first time ever. Anyways, carry on.
  5. You literally doing know any of what you're saying to be true. I absolutely know for a fact what I'm saying is true based on 1st hand knowledge. Almost every contractor I know was forced to put their business in their wife's name. There absolutely is a point system that allows box checker to get bids over cheaper bids. Most companies used the same or similar bidding software and there is very little difference in price. Projects require a prevailing wage so most labor costs are the same.
  6. Trust the govt with all taxes and slogans. This was what 50+ years ago? Toll-free in '73" was a popular slogan in Illinois related to the expectation that the original 187 miles of tollways would be paid off by 1973 and then become freeways . However, this promise wasn't fulfilled. By 1973, state politicians recognized the revenue, jobs, and power associated with the tollways and decided to keep the tolls in place. The Illinois State Toll Highway Authority, which was initially established in 1953 to build highways with the intent that tolls would pay off the bonds and then become freeways, was made permanent in 1968, removing the expectation of becoming free roadways. While there was a public expectation of the toll roads becoming free in 1973, it did not happen. Illinois currently has an extensive system of toll roads and there are no signs of the tolls being removed.
  7. Today
  8. Some cards. One or two cards. ONLY one card. Bahahahhahaahhahaha
  9. Hitting on me again. Does the new gal know the true you? Again why so soon? Cover story?
  10. I met him several times working at comiskey park. Class act. A lot of mlb players were not friendly to fans. He was not one of those. He was great.
  11. I believe i saw Lee was also participating in Poland event coming up. I must have missed the other IU connection that joined the coaching staff. Who was it? But good move for them to help with Central Indiana recruiting.
  12. What do you think or cnn jumping the gun and calling that black dude a white dude without any info. That’s the real question.
  13. That’s all you got? Come back to us when you sober up and have something meaningful to add, maybe you’ll be able to think of it all in enough time to get it in one post. Which leads me to…. I know you said to keep you out of my prayers, but sorry you’re still in there. You’re just so damn adorable and I still wish you better times. Sweet dreams cutie pie.
  14. I do like the analogy though. Retirement is a playground for sure.
  15. Just trying to figure out why you’re all over the place. Pick a fricken number and stick with it. How many cards does she have to play??? Btw thanks to you we ll know she’s in jail until she’s 80.
  16. Do you have any grown up talk that makes sense to contribute? Or are you just playing freeze tag on the playground of “retirement”? In Jesus name we pray…
  17. You should probably learn who she is. She just got the top vaccine official at the FDA fired. Which I’m not happy about, he actually often pissed off people on both sides.
  18. Some to one or two to only one card. Bahahahahhahahahah
  19. But they wouldn’t even do that. And the reason you expect the victims lawyers to be there is because they promise the American people transparency. Why would then victims lawyer being there be detrimental to her telling the full truth? She’s a 63 year old woman scheduled to be in prison until 80. The only card she has to play is to tell the whole truth. I guess of course unless that card includes someone pretty high up on the totem pole. Well, I guess you expect that if you trust government officials, and it seems we don’t trust don’t government officials, unless it’s convenient for us to do so.
  20. I dont know why any would expect the victims lawyers to be there. If they are there she's not going to talk. They could tape the meeting and let them listen after if approved.
  21. These trivia topics are fun WKN. Thanks for posting.
  22. I arrived here in a time mac.... Never mind. I have said too much.
  23. She actually does have some cards at this point. She’s already scheduled to be in prison till she’s like 80. The people that were requesting to talk to her, before she met with Blanche for two days, a meeting he wouldn’t allow the victims lawyers to witness and we have heard zero about….have promised the people of the United States transparency. I’d say she has a card or two…if they really want that transparency.
  24. Perry was my original guess too, but then I was pretty sure the year he didn't win it the year he got the G. Glad I edited my comment.
  25. Winner, winner. Well done. With a 19-12 loss in the round of 32 followed by a 21-13 loss in the opening consol round he went down swinging just hard enough to edge out Oklahoma State's Jeff Ragan, who needed three loses to amass his 24 match points.
