  1. Past hour
  2. And the facts are now in... 'They have no choice but to "play along"' - says JimmySpanks... and he's... WRONG [BUZZ] 'Ya. Let's see what happens if they don't" - says JimmySpanks... and it's... NOTHING [BUZZ] As expected by all, JimmySpanks is nothing more than a big fat mouth with a tiny brain. We have just witnessed the birth of another extremely expensive Forever War thanks to our orange disgrace of a leader. If Musk were to come back to fire more people, he'd have to fire many hundreds of thousands to pay for the bombing fiasco that barely scratched the surface of Iran's mountains. (If only the tiny brains around here could grasp the concept that this is actually a giant problem for all of us. Take your MAGA hat off long enough to use your head for more than holding up that hat. Trump has the country in a downward trajectory. And nothing is on the horizon that looks to turn that around.) Get ready for much higher gas prices, higher inflation, and our economy to run wildly off track.
  3. Do you lack the ability to pick up on ALL context? Go back and read the thread, what post did I agree with? Explain to me where I made ANY inference that there was ANYTHING wrong with that? Why are you the only one that needs every position explained?
  4. A better way would be to do it with respect for their humanity, with due process, and with public transparency. "Quickly" is the least important thing here. Literally absolutely everything else is more important. Unless you prefer that we run the USA like China does their country. I'm not in favor of that. In the US, we've always done it better. I'd like to think we still can. (Too bad ICE is ruining that.)
  5. Today
  6. No. You're 100% right. You fools appear to be unaffected by logic, rational thought, and anything that resembles wisdom. Cool. (Aside - Husker, why do you insist on creating this fictional group of fools? We have enough real ones here.)
  7. Once again. You lack reading comprehension. He was Wrestling 95 during his hold back year. This means that if he would have wrestled as a freshman that year, he would have weighed in at 11 pounds under 106 at Super32 just a month and a half before the high school season, not a year. Honestly, do you even try to understand what you're responding to? Side Question: When has Bo ever cut a significant amount of weight? He's jumped weights every year of high school and only sought out the toughest competition. Please don't try to answer because I'm sure you're as clueless on this topic as any of the others regarding him. I'm not even a Bo Bassett guy, but the way you and the rest of the ignorant haters make false statements about him, his age, and his "advantages" is just absolutely ridiculous.
  8. Cool. I don't know what you're babbling about today, but you still...shockingly couldn't answer the question. Who said; Just asking who ever made this claim... You guys sure like the "liberals say...." and then...kinda make up your own little theories, don't ya?
  9. You're getting at relativity, which is fine. But if we're going to make relative arguments, my view is that although compared to the field, Spencer is a good scrambler, it's probably his weakest skill. He is an absolute beast at muscling guys around and putting them off balance and then taking them down on his feet, and he is a killing machine on top. Those are dominant skills that he is the best at by far. In scrambles, however, his opponents have had far more luck in getting into winning positions and tagging him with his very rare losses.
  10. Compared to other big budget sports, elite wrestlers and coaches are shielded from answering tough questions. Imagine if the Snyder situation was basketball, or Bassett was the number 1 football recruit. In these sports, the coach and those around the program would be pressured constantly to make a comment. Instead we live in a world where Snyder was shielded from the media at Final X and Cael never had to go on record about it. While the situation has improved in recent years with FLO and other outlets, sports journalists are still too scared of having access to top programs cut off. Fans and supporters are left to follow social media rumors and debate via chatrooms without fact checking. What would it take to have a better wrestling media other than money?
  11. Yeah, 95 to 106 is 11 pounds. I know that Math can get difficult, but...not 9 pounds. And that's over 10% of his body weight. That's a BIG difference. That's a 150 having to Wrestle ~170. You asked me on another thread why I cared so much about a cease-fire. Why do YOU care so much about a kid being held back a year so he's ready to compete or MORE ready to compete given everything that's at stake for some of these kids? Live changing NIL money. Just 200K at 19 years old is tens of millions if invested right by retirement age. You have an odd metric for "deplorable."
  12. I'm surprised the ones who got this wrong haven't yet put out an eye trying to use a fork.
  13. Um, OK, not sure what you're asking, but sure, do linemen.
  14. You were part of a thread in which I was literally arguing they should have used more MOPs if they were not certain they could stop and completely destroy Iran nuclear facilities with this strike. So again, you have to be...just comically stupid or asking this question as a precursor to another question. There's not a chance this is a sincere question. So just get to it already. This is like the 5th time you've asked something I've addressed probably 20-25 times, including in conversations WITH YOU.
  15. It sounds like you've decided what you want the facts to be, and have your heels dug in. I've cited several studies and articles, you've cited none, and refuse to. Just saying "gee that sounds wrong" isn't persuasive. Yes, there's a lot more research out there. If you're genuinely curious, I suggest jstor.org, though an AI engine can help too. If you find anything saying there's no racial disparity in NIL, I'll gladly eat my shorts. As for the current NIL "money leaders", you're just throwing it out there without analyzing it for racial disparity. So what's your point? Are we to take your word for it that it reflects no racial disparity, without any cite or analysis at all? I don't see how it helps you anyway. Your SI list has the 4 top earners all being white. Disparity? In the On3 list, out of the top 10, nine are football players -- and of those 9, 6 are white and 3 are black, despite black players being over 50% of top NCAA football programs. Disparity? And did those 6 white players "earn" it on merit -- that is, are they among the 9 best football players overall? Not according to an On3 video which has 8 of 9 of the top players being black (here). (Where are the other guys in the NIL list? Waaaaay down.) Or compare the racial composition of SI's "top 20" list (here) with the top 20 NIL earners from On3. See the racial difference? I don't doubt that the white QBs have more social media follows which helps explain the racial disparity, but it's still a racial disparity. White athletes, on average, get more follows. Does anyone seriously think Livvy Dunne would have as many follows as she does, and $4M+/year in NIL, if she had the same skill set and personality but were LaTanya Dunne (i.e. black)? You know the answer. It's a racial disparity. I don't know why you're fighting me on this. It seems like you're trying really hard to resist facts that you must know to be true.
  16. Read the thread. Read the last 2-3 pages. I've been SO abundantly clear on this, it's not a "valid question," it's a stupid game you're trying to play. You'd have to be Scout/Jimmy-level stupid to not understand at this point.
  17. Yeah, no, I get that. I'm saying if you push back, they can't deny you and they're certainly not going to deny you in a high profile case that's on ESPN. I worked in health care for a period of time. I understand how corrupt it is. They still can't just deny a legitimate claim... So whereas I understand they may deny treatment for normal people from time to time, they need to have a valid reason for denying a transplant as Askren is certainly going to have the resources to challenge the Insurance company.
  18. Is your desire for them to have or have not Nukes not a valid question?
  19. Why do I care? THIS is the extent of what I said about it; And gee...lets think. Why would I possibly care about a cease-fire as opposed to escalating the conflict? Man...you got me. Just...silly, huh?
  20. Wonderful. Do you have any point or are you just going to keep asking stupid questions like "do you think Iran should have Nuclear weapons?" As for the asinine and pedantic, argue with Trump; https://x.com/i/status/1937486228229697823
  21. Instead of just clown emoji everything make an argument. Is 6-12 hours to prolonged for you? Also why on earth do you care ?
  22. 9 lbs with a year to grow isn’t a lot. Maybe don’t over train and over cut when you are 6/7/8th grade.
  23. They either can have one or cannot from our perspective. Which is it.
  24. Yeah...that is is a simple question. When you change a word and ask of out nowhere "6-12 hours in prolonged," I didn't know what you were asking. But yes, by definition...it is prolonged. Do you know what "prolonged" means? So I said...with no political bend to it, that I find it odd we're saying we're going to have set a cease-fire so you can launch off another attack...and then Trump said the same thing. So again...what are you even arguing? The definition of words? AGAIN...some of you really need to figure out what the hell you're even arguing. You also just asked if I thought we should allow Iran a Nuclear Weapon...and you're asking ME about MY reading comprehension?
