Well, i guess first you have to understand the system has nothing to do with "not to prosecute", it solely has to do with how they now determine whether or not a defendant is released pre-trial. And, again, I asked what it says that the data is the data. If you don't want to face the data, that's okay. I'm not going to go through all your hoops with you this evening.

Give me one good reason to not prosecute first degree murder for that nonsense cited above. And to let that trash element back on the street. I’m sure they haven’t re offended 100 times since then.

I asked what it says that the data shows that violent crime, property crime, and failure to appear rates are down, I'm not saying the data claims crime has been eliminated.

Kim Foxx's proposal to not charge felonies from certain traffic stops has had success elsewhere Cook County State’s Attorney Kim Foxx has stirred debate since proposing that her office no longer file felony charges when the cases stem solely from minor traffic violations. Foxx says her intent is to reduce the incentive for police to conduct “pretextual stops,” where an officer uses a minor violation to pull over a car in order to find probable cause for another crime. Data shows such stops disproportionately target people of color and rarely result in charges.

CHICAGO VIOLENCE: PROSECUTORS REJECT CHARGES IN DEADLY GANG-RELATED AUSTIN SHOOTING CHICAGO (WLS) -- There is an outcry from the mayor and some Chicago aldermen after men linked by police to a deadly gang shootout in Austin last week were released from custody. Prosecutors declined to charge each of them with a pair of felonies, including first-degree murder. The mid-morning gunfight, which left one shooter dead and two of the suspects wounded, stemmed from an internal dispute between two gang factions, the Chicago Sun-Times reported.

They let a guy who allegedly cut a woman’s head off. Put her in a drum. And messed with her body for quite some time. Pardon me if I don’t believe they aren’t declassifying crimes to lower offenses and or just not arresting them. I’m at the store I’ll Google later. They don’t charge gang bangers with shooting or killing each other sometimes when they don’t involve civilians …. They call it something like mutual combatant. I’m not even joking about Chicago

Trump's DOJ wants to criminalize free speech

Yes I did. I don't know why you're trying to nitpick about how it was written or quoted when the more important issue is the blatant unconstitutionality of this latest edict by a wannabe dictator. -
Even 50+ years later he is still "tricky."

Didn't you read the article. It has to be a perfect article. So if the author made such a statement then I'm sure he/she/they listed each and every advisor hst is talking about. Or is it possible the article is flawed? -
What does it say that violent crime, property crime, and failure to appear rates are down in Cook County in the year that the state of Illinois (these are not city initiatives but rather state legislation) enacted this system. They are not down by a lot, but if they're down they can't be up....which goes against what certain media, talking heads, and politicians would have us believe.

Have I got good news for you. Per the Gerrymandering Project who "bridges the gap between mathematics and law" there are fifteen states that get a failing grade (D or F). Of those two create no partisan advantage (Tennessee, Louisiana). Five create a Democratic advantage (Oregon, New Mexico, Nevada, Illinois) Nine create a Republican advantage (Utah, Texas, Kansas, Wisconsin, Ohio, Florida, Georgia, South Carolina, North Carolina) The Democratic bias states have a total of 36 seats. The Republican bias seats have a total of 132 seats. https://gerrymander.princeton.edu/ -
