  2. We could pass the 28th Amendment to allow illegals being detained, can work to help pay for their food and lodging. We could also call it vocational rehab training so they will a trade when they are released.
  3. I honestly don't know how much i would cut per week my senior year in college. I would only make weight once a week, and generally was too afraid to check the scale until maybe two days before. I wrestled 150 (should've probably been a 158 but I wouldn't have been a starter.) I'd make 150 Friday night. Go in for the Saturday dual, check weight then... 170+ after 14-16 hours to eat and rehydrate. Binge for a couple days. I prob wouldn't check my weight again until Wednesday after practice. Usually still low double digits over. Break out the sauna suit and a lot of extra running. Make weight on Friday. BTW, I would eat something every day and just squeeze that water right out of me. I was an all-American weight cutter, but nowhere near an all-American wrestler. I actually got worse at wrestling, but I was a starter and I was pretty big the day of the match.

  5. That isn't going to save the cost. Also that would be illegal to do. Unless you want to roll back the 13th amendment.

How long were you in for?
  7. That was my first thought.
  8. Gitmo.
  9. That wasn't the question. Did Biden ever say that he didn't know whether or not he had to uphold the constitution? A simple yes or no.
  10. You could have the detainees do the work to rebuild it. It doesn't have to be a Hilton Inn.
  11. Yes.
  12. Idiotic. They'd have to tear it down and rebuild most of it. The last time I was there 6 years ago it was in bad shape, almost not even worth visiting because so much of it was fenced off or blocked off. It would cost a lot of money, probably upwards of a billion dollars to rebuild it to the standard it needs to be.
  13. I'm a little surprised that the Max capacity is only 336 inmates. I would think they could easily double that with bunk beds. I thought Alcatraz was much larger.
  14. Does Minnow making a living from posting on FB? He sure does stir the pot a lot with weird posts.
  15. Yeah a lot of successful wrestler/grapplers in MMA are very physical. They stay on the gas, pressure, mix in strikes during those exchanges, they're explosive, and they stay in the opponent's face from the beginning. Examples of this would include Khamzat, Khabib, Merab, and Oliveira. Even the wrestler/grapplers who don't pressure as much, like Islam, Evloev, and Aljo Sterling are still really physical in grappling exchanges. Nickal looked to be pretty relaxed, took his time, and just wasn't as physical in those exchanges just like he was in his previous couple fights. de Ridder was on the gas that whole fight whereas Bo seemed to just be reacting, which is exhausting.
  16. he just signed with UFC a few weeks ago https://www.espn.com/mma/story/_/id/44593073/aaron-pico-former-bellator-star-signs-ufc
  17. Where in the SCOTUS ruling did it say "return to the USA"?? It says help facilitate his release...which I believe he has been...in El Salvador. And yes he is never coming back here...period! It is laughable how people play mental gymnastics to what is clear language to somehow make it seem like the Trump administration is ignoring the SCOTUS ruling. Believe me, I'd be the first to condemn Trump and his administration if they in fact did ignore a SCOTUS ruling as that should never happen. You and the MSN are doing everything in your power to twist the situation and provide shade for an illegal alien who has committed many crimes while here and is a gang member...for what...because you hate the president of the USA...how sad is that?!

So wouldn't it be cheaper to send em to El Salvador?
  19. Askren did pretty well with it…
  20. He's mostly training with the yes-men in State College. I imagine for camp, he goes down to ATT in FL and trains under the guidance of Coach Brown.
  21. I almost asked this question earlier. Has the 1 hour weigh rule in ncaa wrestling made modern wrestlers soft when it comes to weight cutting? note: I’m not suggesting ncaa change the rule and go back…. Just curious as people think these weight cuts are super crazy but happened a lot back in the day.
  22. I feel like this is an area where a certain type of Wrestler does better. More of a brawler and...I really don't mean this as a dig on NIckal, but...he wasn't the most physical. David Taylor Id say the same thing about or most of those guys. Now Aaron Brooks...I feel like...aside from the fact that he'd never have the reach advantage, his style would work or Starocci maybe. Zain. I feel like he'd be a pretty scrapy fighter, but...I don't know how much all this funk really helps in MMA.
  23. I don't know why guys do that. I lost 20 pounds in less than a week one time and I was as weak as a baby on the mat for a couple weeks after. Seems like maintaining your weight around the competition weight would be best, to me.
  24. You should ask this on FRL
  25. Yes, from my brokerage account last week. Not all of it i asmit. Converted $10k to cash. Will reinvest when s&p dips again due to trade deal failures.
  26. Do you know if Bo does much training with MMA guys or is he just training with his yes man crew in state college? All the clips I've seen are him training with Cassar and Carter Starocci and such, which sure they're great athletes, but they're not experienced MMA fighters... I know he's got some MMA coaches there, but if I recall, his striking coach is also an up and comer trying to get into MMA.
