  1. Past hour
  2. People were ridiculing Bo for the amount of $ he took when originally committed to Iowa. Curious if he gets even more at his school and the kind of backlash that'll look like with being such a huge God first person.
  3. Yes, VT didn’t make Melvin’s cut.
  4. Was VT the one that wasn’t even on Melvin’s top 8 or 9 or whatever? I suppose that could be why people could think them getting Bo is dead
  5. My main retirement account was up 10.8% between Jan 1st and Jan 23rd down 36.5% between Jan 23rd and April 8th down 29.6% between Jan 1st and April 8th up 63.0% between April 8th and July 7th up 14.7% between Jan 1st and July 7th The SPY was up 4.3% between Jan 1st and Jan 23rd down 18.5% between Jan 23rd and April 8th down 15.1% between Jan 1st and April 8th up 25.0% between April 8th and July 7th up 6.2% between Jan 1st and July 7th Tariffs reduced my biggest business investment's value by half, with no improvement expected. Fortunately, strong performances by SOFI and AT&T have offset the loss.
  6. Madrid, Spain — Darian Cruz delivered a flawless performance at the 2025 Grand Prix of Spain, winning the gold medal at 57kg and outscoring his opponents by a combined margin of 29-0. The title marks Cruz’s first championship at the prestigious international event, after earning silver and bronze in previous years. The Pennsylvania Regional Training Center (PRTC) athlete made a statement in everymatch on his way to the top of the podium: ● In the quarterfinals, Cruz shut out Spain’s Raymel Quiñones with a 7-0 decision. ● He followed up with a dominant 11-0 technical fall over Peter Cude of Costa Rica in the semifinals. ● Cruz capped off his run with another 11-0 technical fall in the finals against Yelaman Amangeldy of Kazakhstan. “Winning the Spanish Grand Prix is pretty awesome, especially after getting silver and bronze in the years prior,” said Cruz. “I just feel like it’s a good testament to what we have been building back home at Penn with the PRTC.” Cruz, a Bethlehem, Pennsylvania native and NCAA Champion, continues to build on a strong 2025 campaign. His gold medal performance reflects the ongoing momentum of the PRTC, which has grown into a top-tier training environment for elite athletes. “I feel super grateful for the opportunity to compete, let alone the opportunity to compete for the PRTC,” Cruz said. “It’s exciting to see the representation from the commitment and work we have been putting in here. This family is growing and it means even more to be able to say that everybody in the Philly community has contributed and can take credit for this medal. The most rewarding part is knowing that this is only the beginning... to many more.” With this victory, Cruz adds an international title to his growing list of accolades and reinforces his standing as one of the premier 57kg wrestlers in the world.
  7. Probably a rather long time. Once filed, it would probably get out quickly, but I doubt anyone would hear about it until it was filed. And who is getting sued and for what would have to get sorted, which is not a quick process.
  8. I think he is taking time. Melvin also can't have his official visits yet, I could see him wanting to let Melvin have his recruiting moment/ they could look at schools together. His youngest brother (Keegan) is a few weeks out from going to U17 worlds, Fargo is less than a week away- I think once we hit August or so, this will ramp right back up.
  9. Do the authorities know much about these guys? https://abcnews.go.com/amp/US/10-arrested-after-ambush-texas-ice-detention-facility/story?id=123555164 10 arrested after ambush on Texas ICE detention facility, officials say State and federal officials announced on Monday that 10 people were arrested for engaging in a "planned ambush" on an ICE detention facility in Texas over the Fourth of July holiday. The individuals were charged with attempted murder of a federal officer, according to court records.
  10. I think when the dust settles we don't see Paniro in of the line up / frost and Zebran are both AA - Johnson just hasn't shown he can get it done in march
  11. Interesting thread here. Apparently CSU wrestling was making money.
  12. Good point. The huskers are a solid program, with a great coach and an attractive landing spot. I’m not sure how much AJ being there would influence Bo’s decision though.
  13. Yes, let's drive inflation up even more than the big ugly bill will already do. Dumb.
  14. He might be. He graduated but may be sticking around to train FS
  15. Drop the interest rates and we’ll all be smiling. Except for comrade RV of course.
  16. Is it burning yet?
  17. Not sure I'm tracking... Uguev won 2018 + 19 worlds + 2020ne olympics and was the heavy favorite in 2022 until RUS was banned. Lebedev held down the weight for a few quads before that and won at least a couple world titles and added multiple medals, and the guy who beat him for the 2012 spot won olympic gold. No one knows what would have happened at the olympics last year because RUS was banned. Whoever they send as their world rep in a couple months is in the medal hunt at the very least.
  18. Today
  19. That's fair, and I think we are mostly in agreement. It's using "impossible" that I really only disagree with
  20. I can see that NJ being #2. But dang NC having all those programs and CSU gets the axe. So much history there.
  21. Yeah, I think the offseason will be slow on the forum and hopefully they'll have it together by the start of the college season. I can see a lot of folks checking back in around then to see if it's available. Can you still post? Maybe tell people to come here and we can have a mini-forum for the time being?
  22. Yes, that's correct. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS), a $100,000 salary in January 2020 has the same buying power as a $124,353 salary in April 2025, according to CPA Practice Advisor and HR Dive. This difference reflects the impact of inflation over that period
  23. If there was any kind of lawsuit brewing, how long would it take to become public?
  24. I'm not being cynical, I am being 100% serious when I ask: what kind of message is being sent to kids who are the future of our sport, and every olympic sport hanging on fear dear life at this point, that there are no consequences for pissing hot and being suspended for two years?
  25. I love this idea personally. A couple other names to consider would be Scott Green & Donnie Vinson. Yes, I know Vinson just took over at Buffalo a year or so ago, and is doing a great job recruiting/building there, and I know Green seems excited about working with Nickerson. But, Binghamton is both of their alma maters and that means something to a lot of people. Other names: Nic Bedelyon (I know he applied and was a finalist for Kent State HC job), Ramos???, Hayden Hidlay (gets him a HC job closer to home).
  26. My cheapo week ran out today lol. Not a lot of talk on the new board as of yet. Hope they get things figured out, I'm not paying anything when the majority of the boards are free.
  27. As is the 157 national champ.
