Crap Country: U.S. 46th In Life Expectancy
Doublehalf replied to red viking's topic in Non Wrestling Topics
Again- I think you are over simplifying what really is a system that has been designed to keep people sick/obese. And if it isn't directly designed, it sure is a significant by product of that and should be looked at on many different levels. If self control is your main argument then it certainly betrays the thought that conservatives have more self control and motivation than the liberal left according to the data. Unless your subsequent argument is that conservatives only lack self control when it comes to diet and exercise and southern cooking is just too good to pass up:.. -

i didn't say anything about who was making bad choices. red or blue how would you compare our obesity rates to those of the palestinians who were just under a famine/starvation/genocide? -

What’s the real solution. Let the us gov mandate / run things ? What could go wrong with that? They’re never wrong about stuff they force into our bodies right? -

Actually, I may have been wrong, though I heard it from a reputable source. However the UK is on the rise. -

Great so we are 1b to the UKs 1a - still not something to be proud of... If there is something that should be easy to agree on it's that being that high up on the list at all is not good and we have to do better as a populace from a policy standpoint, education on health and corporatations being more altruistic in the products they produce but that is a far cry away. -
Would you do a large tier 2 or separate them? Personally I'd bump Ferrari to 1 and then combine 2&3. I could see all of those guys taking losses from each other.

we know why it is the case. Shoveling too much food in the face and not exercising enough. We know how to fix it. Shovel less food in the face and exercise more. will people do either or both ? Some yes. Some no. Some maybe so -

I think arguing about metrics to measure obesity rates being the highest in the US of all developed nations and splitting hairs between whether we are at a 40% vs 43% obesity rate is less important than finding a solution to why that's the case... -

Who is being a racist sheep? I too have no idea whom this bunny is. Nor is the Super Bowl half time show watchable. -

My Fav. Super bowls Prince Bootie Battle was Epic also 50 Cent Upside Down I think Pit Bull with Lil John should anchor it every year, and a few guest stars each year. -
Curious as to why tier 2 doesn't just include Allred. & Smith who are returning AAs. Have Ryder & Sinclair done anything to show they belong a tier ahead before wrestling significant matches at 184? I get Ferrari as he has a common opponent over Silas, but not really Welsh who split with Ruth at 174, who Silas did the same with. I think Smith beat him last year.

I am IMO Fat as F&^% currently, it's the category I prefer.. More motivating... My fault for sure... Considering I have a heart condition and was trained my whole life, you would think I could do better. I attest to local food, southern food, yummy, very unhealthy -
Probably a stupid question, but...Is Ryder for sure the starter at 184 with Brayden Thompson in the room? Thompson was #3 coming out of HS and eventually decided to stay when Ryder came in. But Ryder also left PSU because of Welsh, so doubt he chooses OSU if he's not the starter. On Ferrari...keep in mind he beat Plott (6,6,2,4) and took Starocci to the brink (if I remember right, Starocci won on push outs/stalling...a veteran move against a freshman). Not saying he's the top guy (I think that's Mac), but think he is going to be super tough for anyone. Welsh will have top-notch training partners, but wonder if a year away hurts him at all. Sinclair was right there with Mac in freestyle, so that will be a fun if they run into each other. 1) Mac 2) Ferrari 3) Sinclair The best part is that OSU, Minny, Iowa, and Mizzou will all be at the national duals and the soldier salute.

10+ pounds over a month before any real competitions is interesting? Unless he's already sucked down some, 10 pounds in a month is nothing.

No doubt local foods are good there as they are all over our wonderfully diverse country! That being said; BMI is the fastest and most effective way to determine obesity in a large population data set. Does it mis calculate those with more muscle mass or different levels of visceral fat? No doubt... but from a general metric to calculate it does a decent job. I don't think any of us would dispute the data on obesity rates generally being within a couple points to capture the small portion of outliers out there straddling the line of being just Obese vs morbidly obese... -
Would anyone else take Starocci over Zahid?
Rassling2 replied to Hammerlock3's topic in International Wrestling
I’d not only take Zahid over Sarrocci, I’d even pay for a few dollars to bet on it. -
Dad must agree......
